PULUONG BOUTIQUE GARDEN

Nobody expects such beautiful accommodation in the middle of nowhere. The rooms and bungalows are quiet, clean and air-conditioned. You can relax on the balconies and listen to the sounds of the rainforest as the evening draws to a close. Special praise also goes to the staff, everyone is so friendly and courteous. Tim, the manager of the hotel, takes care of everything, I can only warmly recommend joining one of his tours and getting to know the country and its people. The food at the hotel is also very good, the local beer is a recommendation. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience.

Pu Luong is perfect weekend getaway from Hanoi. We went in October. We could see rice terrace at its beds. Stayed at Pu Luong Boutique garden, room facing rice fields. It was our first trip with our 8 months old baby. And it went great. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Only thing I felt is bathroom of the room is dark. Swimming pool was good, staff helped us with taking luggage to the main road. Nearby is a great view point which is in walkable distance.

Wonderful into the wild lodge. Amazing views to the rice terraces and mountains. Very beautifully and spacious rooms/bungalows with terrace!
Managed by the very kind owners who are super helpful and make your stay very comfortable and homey!
You can find a bug or two in your room which is fine cause here you are really into the wild!
Situated in an area where you have several other lodges/homestays, it’s not isolated.
I would definitely stay here again and longer!

Beautiful Eco Resort.

The room and views were amazing. We sat on our private deck at night and watched the fireflies over the terraced rice patties.

Watching the sunrise over the mountains drinking your morning coffee cannot be beat.

The staff was great as was the food.

We enjoyed many, somewhat strenuous, treks into the valleys visiting many different villages. All walking distance from the hotel.

I cannot wait to return.

We had a wonderful experience here.
The rooms were high quality (good large bed, air conditioner, ceiling fan, hot water in the shower, clean), the pool is nice. The food was super tasty (especially the banana blossom salad), and the host was excellent and had good English.
The location is great. Wonderful views, great both for hiking and easy rider trips. we took half a day of easy rider trip that was just beautiful (just know that they only offer helmets and no other protection).
Highly recommend.

The bungalow is big and clean, the bed is very comfy and you can see the rice fields from your terrace. The room could be a bit cold at night but they have heater. The owner and his family and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at this place is a bit pricy but taste good.

we visited pulong boutique with our four year old daughter. during our stay it was very hot and humid, so it was nice that there was a fresh and clean swimming pool. the bungalows are simply furnished but equipped with air conditioning and have a beautiful view. the staff were very friendly and helpful. they suggested appropriate trips and baked pancakes in the morning especially for our daughter. we highly recommend a stay at pulong boutique!

This place is run since 2018 by a family who you will meet if you stay here. Everybody is pitching in from reception to cooking and in the case of the youngest daughter: being cute. The place offers amazing views from the bungalows, great food and excellent service. They respond very quickly to messages and can arrange everything you need. The atmosphere is relax and cosy. I’ve read previous reviews and of course: sometimes something isnt available and prices are more expensive then they are in Hanoi. You’re in the middle of nowhere on a mountain, what so you expect? This family however will do whatever it possibly can to make your trip to Pu Luong the best it can be. Choose Pu Luong over Sapa and come stay here would be my recommendation

Beautiful room overlooking the rice paddies and warm welcoming hosts made this the highlight of our trip.

"Stayed here for 3 nights in one of the bungalows furthest from the balcony with restricted views due to the mountain. Ideally we would have preferred one of the bungalows with a more open view across the rice terraces. I, but not my husband, had reservations when we booked this especially in view of the fact we were staying 3 nights however apart from the damp sheets, difficulty drying wet clothes and the slippery paths I enjoyed the stay.
It was a complete contrast to the other places we visited while in Vietnam. We had pre arranged tours including the magical waterwheel walk, bamboo rafting which was low key but pleasantly tranquil, and a 18km walk through fabulous scenery and villages meeting some of the friendliest people on the planet. Our local guide found an excellent picnic spot and the retreat provided an impressive picnic. We were also happy to walk unguided on our third morning. In the end we were actually quite glad we stayed 3 nights.
The standard of the food was really good though there was little choice but that didn't bother us. 5 courses at lunch and dinner was almost too much. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Apart from the damp sheets (this obviously is weather dependent) the room was spacious with a lovely balcony. Though as others have commented the adjoining wall is thin and there is only a curtain to screen the bathroom. All the negative comments, ours and others, need to be balanced by the fact that this is in a remote and poor region and new to tourism. If you are bothered by lack of tv and phone in the room (though there is rapid internet) this area is probably not for you."
