Pu Luong Treehouse

Truly a gem of a hotel!! Book this place with your eyes closed! The food was absolutely delicious, different for every meal and tasted so fresh! The rooms were beautiful and every detail was well thought out! The pool was so refreshing! The staff is truly composed of the nicest people ever who want your stay to be perfect. Do yourself a favour and book it: you clearly will not regret it!!!

Pu Luong Treehouse finds itself in the midst of enchanting rice paddies, of which all or most of the cabins offer a window view. It’s farm land, so the food is fresh and local. The staff is friendly and helpful and every single meal was delicious. My family and I stayed for four days and were sad to leave.

The Pu Luong Treehouse was my favorite place I stayed throughout my travels in Vietnam. It was truly one of the most magical places I’ve ever been, and I’ve thought of it every day since I left. The treehouses are fantastic- so aesthetically pleasing, and connected to nature while still having comforts such as electricity and running water. Dzuy and the rest of the staff were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I felt so welcomed and was extremely well taken care of from the moment I arrived (actually, from before I arrived! They were so helpful with transportation from Hanoi, etc.). Also, the food was delicious! I was completely blown away. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly, and I can’t wait to return again one day.

Stayed here with my partner and two teenage daughters in early March and am still thinking about this place…
The treehouses are lovely, peaceful and offer hauntingly beautiful views of the neighbouring rice terraces.
We ate every single meal here (breakfast is included) and very much looked forward to mealtimes since the menu consists of food that is mainly grown onsite or in the area.
Dzuy and the rest of the staff were extremely warm and accommodating and kept us all very happy throughout our stay.
Stay here if you want a truly relaxing and welcoming break from city life at an incredibly affordable cost (from the perspective of a Canadian, anyway!).

If you plan for an experience connected to nature, to traditional living and want to get away from the buzz of the more crowded destions, look no further and book at this accomodation right now.

We planned to stay 2 nights and extended beyond that, because of the Host, the team and the location.

The staff is amazing, this should be mentioned first. We were given the best and local food. Smoothies, drinks and generally everything we need. We were able to rent a scooter, get bikes and even when needed the host would arrange for people to be picked up in the valley by motorbike/scooter when not able to return. The host enjoys to take people on a walkingtour through the ricefields and jungle (take water with you ;) ). Also transfers to Hanoi or Ninh Binh are arranged by the staff daily, just ask.

The location is great amidst the extended rice fields on top of a hill. The great sweetwater (no chlorine) pool is nicely located, the hamoks invite for a small break in the sun overlooking ricefields and the flowergarden of the accomodation. The 'restaurant' is located below the main treehouse (group accomodation) and allows for getting in touch with others or to enjoy the food-experience in solitude. There are two bigger houses, as well as a few treehouses. The treehouses are small and tradionally build from wood and open (you should not mind the occasional lizzard looking down at you from the walls). This also applies for the toilet and shower, wich are detached from the treehouse and in a private area next to the treehouse. A truely amazing and connected experience that feels like beeing in a fairy tale. The area is very well suited for all travellers: Lone travellers, people looking to connect, families with children, couples, everyone will have a great time here.

The valley itself is not too big, can be explored by motorbike/scooter or bicycle or walking. Explorers will have explored the valley within two days, but the accomodation, peace, food and drinks will want you to explore the peace for a few more days.

Important to mention is that there is no bank in the area and cash is needed for most of the purchases outside of the accomodation. Everything arranged through or within the accomodation can be paid with card through the Wise-app (like paypal) or cash; take this into account before going.

We can only reconmmend to come here, especially when wanting to see a more traditional side of vietnamese countryside living and rice fields.

We had a great time and would return if in Vietnam again.

I stayed for 7 nights at Pu Luong Treehouse and really enjoyed it! I loved the character and the style of the houses, the great vief of the rice fields and the delicious meals (every evening a differenr dish was served). But especially the staff was great. Duy the manager did his best to make my stay as a solo traveler the most comfortable. We went for a short hike almost everyday and he even showed me around in Pu Luong with his motorbike. Also Zoom the owner of Treehouse was very lovely from the beginning, starting from the booking to helping out getting a suitable cruise for me at halong bay. This is definitively a place to come back!

Stay here. The food is the best I’ve had in Vietnam - the staff and service are so wonderful and welcoming. They arranged a taxi from our hotel in Hanoi to pu long and have arranged our next taxi to Nimh binh. The owner has gone out of his way to pick us up after a long trek, take us on walks, and made some incredible cocktails. The hotel is picturesque overlooking the rice fields in Pu Long with beautiful mountains surrounding the valley. You will get adventure solace and tranquility here. Can’t recommend it enough. Rooms are very comfortable and beautiful with panoramic views.

I loved my stay here. Beautiful location, accommodating Staff and great Food. The Rooms/Houses are something else as well. There is one well planned Dinner Menu and Lunch daily, thar encouraged me to try new local Food that I probably would not dared to order on my own.

Beautiful little lodge tucked away at the bottom of the valley surrounded by rice fields. Built entirely from wood, this little oasis is the product of great attention to detail from the garden pool, to the treehouses, and all the upscaled finishings. Service is warm and attentive, food is wholesome and delicious. A wonderful place to stay!

We spent two nights at Pu Luong Treehouse and had the best time! We were the only guests staying and had the place for ourselves. What a luxury!
Duy, the manager of the Treehouse, is a great host: he took us on a walk with his dog on the day of arrival, and on the next day he did a little motorbike tour with us and showed us a local market and a waterfall. He‘s extremly caring but very discrete, making sure your stay is the best possible.
The food we had was one of the best on our Vietnam trip! The two women working in the kitchen cooked us extremely tasty dishes (we are vegetarian and this was no problem!), always accompanied with a platter of fresh fruit. So good! We had all our meals at the Treehouse and never went to other restaurants.
The property itself is wonderfully kept and super clean. Our bungalow was really cozy and spacious — we loved the view on the rice fields from the balcony and the „frog concert“ at night!
We can warmly recommend the Pu Luong Treehouse and would for sure stay again!

You can't miss this wonderful place when you are in Pu Luong area! It's one of the most beautiful accommodations in Vietnam. Thanks so much for your hospitality, the lovely food and last but not least: the view!

We had an amazing time and everything was perfect. The food was really really great, the room with an amazing view and very clean. Zoom and Duy were so helpful. This place is calm and at a perfect location (way different than the noisy resorts in the same zone!)

The place is a paradise on Earth. I have no words to say how nice, beautiful and peaceful it is. Dzuy is such a fantastic host, always with a smile on his face, he made us forget all the hustle of the daily life. He also speaks English very well.
The food was the best we have ever had in Vietnam, real homemade dishes, delicious. The views are fantastic and the location is perfect to explore around and feel the daily life of Pu Luong. I was hesitating whether to stay somewhere along the main road, and finally it was the best decision to choose the Treehouse.
We also rented the motorbike from the property, and Dzuy can help you with any transportation arrangements. Everything was great! I wish we come back very soon!

We had such an amazing stay - Zoom the owner was super communicative on WhatsApp and the manager on-site Dzuy was the kindest person. Everyone there was, really. The location is breathtaking and views from our balcony made us want to just lounge around and read. We had two breakfasts and one dinner homemade by the staff and all were delicious. We will be recommending anyone who goes through Pu Luong to stay with them!

I had the greatest time there at this peaceful and quiet place. No karaoke blasting all night unlike other places around. Lots to explore, bunch of waterfalls and backroads. The owner went beyond my expectations and provided me with spare shoes when I burned mine. Rooms are really clean, food is delicious and your are in the middle of the rice fields, the view is stunning. Will definitely visit again soon :)

It was great fun to spend the night in a treehouse. Treehouse was super fancy and clean. Thick blankets and they also gave us hotwater bottles which kept us warm for the night. Dinner was so tasty and kind staff. I'd recommend this place any day!

This place is just dreamy! I have been twice now and will come back many times again! Stunning setting amongst the rice fields, beautiful rooms, and all managed by the kindest man on the planet. Cảm ơn rất nhiều Duy and Zoom!!
