Outdoor cafe with several seating options next to the lake. Great views and atmosphere.
Lot of options, where the avocado toast is the menu winner. Great bread with a couple of options. The one with bacon was tasty and savory. Combined with the watermelon juice it was great start of the day.

Back to Mystic Cafe after 2 years or so away. Used to come a few nights and days each week in 2020. 2021 many things changed and the cafes closed the lake seating. Now I'm back and visiting Hanoi for a few weeks. I'm very thankful to reach Mystic again, one day having their avocado on toast and coffee, and tonight having the burrito and a few beers and a wonderful West Lake sunset. I live in Siem Reap Cambodia now so just next door and it is so nice to get back and renew the acquaintance. I enjoyed the beers and the beauty of the wonderful and unique sunset along West Lake once again. Thanks!

One of my favourite cafes in Hanoi. The egg coffee is phenomenal. The staff are friendly, attentive, welcoming and speak great English. The food is delicious. Definitely try the breakfast burrito. Avocado on toast is also lovely. Wonderful seating overlooking the lake. Magic.

Come here if you need to wind down and just forget the worries of everyday life for a moment. Food is affordable and tasty and don't even get me started on the bac siu.

This is a great casual place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is very affordable, both the food and the drinks. They have healthy alternatives. The staff is friendly and the service is good.

3 weeks in Hanoi and we walk down every morning to enjoy a coffee/juice/smoothie by the lake. Best staff crew!!! They are soooo nice and this area probably is more quiet than all the other spots in the city too!

Has become a lot more popular over the years but for good reason, great drink selection, friendly staff, good prices, food is super underrated, really nice chill spot for morning or afternoon good vibes.

My friends and I call it the sunset cafe and I think that you should rename it that way.
The view is really nice especially at SUNSET time hence the name changing. But it's also really nice for a brunch when the weather isn't too hot. The food is good especially for the price (100k for a full English breakfast). Overall, it's a really nice place to chill on a Sunday.

Good brekkie selection, vegan, veg, or semi-carnivorous. Coffee is the best in Yen Phu, as is the view.

An absolute gem, Mystic Coffee is my new favourite place in Hanoi. Chilled out vibe, great view over the lake, lovely staff, and a magical live set with the incredibly talented house band - add to this an open mic set where you can experience upcoming Vietnamese acts of all genres as well as foreigners playing a few numbers.
