Simple Coffee

I was looking for a decent coffee place in Ciputra to change from Tay Ho (expat) area.

Simple coffee is conveniently located in a wide area, with lot of space to park motorbike, but also 2 floor and external space to accomodate customer.

Simple coffee stand out by hiring staff on the end of the spectrum, but also showing in-house bean processing. The place is spotless clean.

They also have locally sourced coffee from Son la. The coffee beans are fresh and the price is fair. They have a little corner for sustainable product.

I am very impressed by the high standard and warmly recommend to my neighbourhood.

Simple Coffee - What’s not to love about this place? Ever since my wife and I finished our first cup of coffee here we have been in love with this place. From the chic modern industrial atmosphere to their friendly staff and delicious food and coffee offerings, you won’t be disappointed!! We are also very happy to support this coffee shop’s mission to provide work for people with developmental disabilities…so great to see such great involvement in the community!

I love Simple Coffee in the new location is beautiful in such a great space to meet friends or have a great cup of coffee and a pastry. The atmosphere is really chill and great for reading or studying or even the casual business meeting. It’s easy to find an park. Highly recommend.

I tried the salted coffee for the first time. AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (Also pictured is the Quinoa Bowl with Asian Sesame Dressing--also very delicious.)

Love this place! I’m so happy Simple Coffee moved into my neighborhood. You know the coffee beans are freshly roasted by the quality of the coffee drinks (and because their roaster is in the next room). Whether you are relaxing outdoors or indoors the cozy feel is a nice vibe. The staff are very friendly and put up with my quirks when ordering my flat white a particular way. I bring my family, my friends and my clients here. Come check Simple Coffee out for yourself, then you’ll understand my hype.

This coffee shop is true to it’s name in the best ways possible; simple sometimes is exactly what you’re looking for. Due to COVID restrictions, when I visited they only had take out options, but the staff are very friendly and I was allowed to sit in one of the two tables available outside. It is the perfect quiet spot for working or reading with a view of the lake in a stretch of street that is not too busy or loud. I particularly enjoyed the varieties of syrup available to add to the drinks. My flat white was made to perfection. The coffee quality is amazing and the taste delicious, but it is highlighted by the talented staff when making the drinks.
They have many coffee grounds available for purchase as well as snacks and some sustainable products.
Overall a great place to work and I will surely return soon.

Great Simple coffee place.

The coffee tastes great and the staff are very friendly.

It’s a nice quiet place so great for working or reading a book.

You can buy coffee beans there(they have many different blends) and they happily grind the beans for you.

My favourite thing about this coffee shop is that you can buy a bag of coffee beans there and then they will keep it for you and every time you go there you can have any style of coffee you like using your coffee beans bag for only 10k

Great atmosphere, and the best tasting coffee in Hanoi! They really know how to roast the beans to get a good flavor. Also, I love the work they're doing through their social enterprise Imago Work.

There's a lot of sandwich options. The building is new, clean and several sitting areas (inside and outside).

The place is nice as the coffee. It is a bit more expansive than usual but it will also help people with health issue. It is a good way to contribute for the people in need and enjoy a coffee cup.

Locally sourced coffee beans, quality menu items and a friendly staff with exceptional service. I tried a cup of their premium limited beans and then a latte with a fresh baked cookie! Its a must try.
Even their customers are nice. I spent a couple hours there speaking with the owner and an older couple who were the sweetest people.

These guys are really good! We spent 2 months in Hanoi and here tasted the best coffee, finally really good flat white and cappuccino. The atmosphere nice for work, Prices 50-60000 for coffee and 40000 for muffins and cookies, which are so yummy!

Like the name suggests, it's very simply-designed shop. The espresso drinks are quite amazing, and actually you can choose a variety of nuts milks (almond, coconut, soy, oat) if you like. Vegan-friendly cookies are a must-try because they're favourful without buttery taste.

My (slight) complaint is that the location is at quite elusive corner of West Lake, which made it hard to find the first time around. But afterward, it's my favorite place to sit down for freelance work, writing, chatting with my close friends, hanging out with myself by West Lake (a few steps away from the shop). As an artist, I rarely find any better place than this to have quiet time doing my creative work.

Beside coffee beans, the shop features different kinds of eco-friendly products, highly original handcrafts you won't find else where in Hanoi. Come and experience it for yourself!

High quality direct trade coffee!! The staff is nice, and the drinks and pastries are great. I got a tasty little blueberry pastry and a wonderful peppermint mocha latte (holiday seasonal). Their coffee is my favorite to buy and brew at home. They also sell some other really great products. I bought some all natural spearmint and tea tree soap with activated charcoal from Naturally Clean while there, which I was so very excited to find here in Vietnam!

This is the first time I go to this place. The latte is good, and the staffs are real nice with friendly smile. I’d like to come here everyday, however it’s too far from where I stay.

Great coffee and a very cute coffee shop! They are right by the lake, so there are beautiful views leading up to the shop. I ordered the coconut coffee, and it was delicious. Excellent service!
