Vietnam Eco-Tours - Day Tours

We booked a private tour leading from the North to Central of Vietnam (Van Long, Cat Ba, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Son Tra Peninsula, Bach Ma National Park and finally Buon Me Thuot). We saw a lot of endemic dangered langurs and spotted a lot of bird species we love the see.

Luc is a brilliant birding guide and a wildlife specialist. His high class experience justifies the reasonable tour cost. If you are looking for a professional local expert- he is definitely your man!

This was a top experience. Luc is a an amazing guide who truely loves his job. We saw 3 families of Red monkeys quite close and Luc gives you binoculars to watch them better. Highly recommened and a must if you are in Hoi An and Danang. Thanks for everything Luc!

I live in Danang for already 2 years, but never get a real chance to discover the true magic of Son Tra. So I found Luc, who is a real expert of fauna in Vietnam. We observed for many hours red-shanked doucs in Son Tra, spend amazing days in hidden gem Bach Ma and search for grey shanked doucs in Tamki region. All of them great experiences which I will never forget. If you interested for rich biodiversity in Vietnam, Luc is your guy. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves nature.

Booked the Monkey Mountain Wildlife Tour for observing the fantastic red shanked douc langur living in their natural habitant.

It seemed to be that our guide Luc could smell the langurs before we saw them. Mr. Luc showed us several families and gave interesting information about their family structure.

He provided very professional spotting scope. So we could see the langurs very well. He also helped us to make some great pictures. The organisation of our wildlife tour in Monkey Mountain was really perfect.

Did the halfday monkey/wildlife eco tour. I loved it, but think it could have even been better. Went with my girlfriend and she also liked it, but not as much as we hoped. Luc our guide did a great job, you can tell he is a wildlife enthusiast as well as a birding guy. He was good at spotting the monkeys even while the weather was quite bad (very misty). Also helped us to try and take the best pictures through his telescope. Spotting the langurs was amazing, truly a beautiful species. Despite the weather we still had some good pictures. Be aware that you will mostly see them from a distance though, since they are shy. But it is worth it! Tips: it was quite expensive. 65$ per person (with 2 people). Which is why we did not tip the guide even though he did a great job (sorry Luc). And the website says 'monkey and wildlife', but it is more just the monkeys (and maybe with some luck you could also encounter a snake or squirrel, like we did). Also wear long pants because you sometimes go into the bushes (even though it is mainly walking on the road and sometimes moving a bit further with the car). We spotted multiple groups and families of the langur and one group of rhesus macaques. I think it is almost 100% chance to eventually spot the langurs, but not sure.

Hoi An is an ideal bird watching spot and we could find a plenty of bird species. Our days were enchanting and travelling with Luc is highly recommended.

Great experience to see Red-shanked Douc Langur.

Unser Reiseleiter, Luc Nguyen, holte uns pünktlich am Treffpunkt ab und unternahm mit uns eine mehrtägige Tour durch Cat Tien Nationalpark. Hier konnten wir die seltenen Annamese Southern buff-cheeked gibbon beobachten. Wir waren von der vielfältigen Vogelwelt überrascht und begeistert. Ein besonderes Highlight war die seltenen endemischen orange-necked partridge zu sichten. Wir hatten riesengroßes Glück die nachtaktiven Loris in den Dschungel zu sehen! Das war der krönenden Abschluss unserer Reise. Wir waren darüber sehr happy.

Der Reiseleiter hatte super Wissen über die Gegend der Vögel und wo sie zu finden sind.  Luc war sehr flexibel, bei der Anpassung der Tag für unsere Bedürfnisse.

Wir sind von der Tierwelt Vietnams so begeistert und haben bereits die nächste Tour für November 2024 bei Luc gebucht. Anscheinend ist Luc sehr gefragt und entsprechend schnell ausgebucht. Wir freuen uns sehr auf unsere kommende Vietnamreise.

Luc ist ein sehr erfahrene Experte auf dem Gebiet der Vogelbeobachtung. Wir haben jede Minuten unserer 14 Tage Wildlife Trip sehr genossen. Es zeigte sich dann, dass er nicht nur die Vögel bestens kennt und weiss, wo sie zu beobachten sind, sondern auch über ein breites Hintergrundwissen verfügt und einem auch gut auf für die Beobachtung wichtigen Details hinweisen kann. Er spricht fliessend Englisch. Dank seines super professionelles Equipment/Teleskop konnten wir Vögel vom Nahen beobachten. Für die weniger erfahrene Vogelliebhaber in unserer Gruppe war das sehr hilfreich. Seine Begeisterung und Hingabe machte die Reise zu einem interessanten und spannenden Erlebnis. Wir können ihn als Führer nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank!
