1st time experience and so enjoy with all the nature inside the nation park. The ticket entrance just 50.000 for adult, the ferry will bring us pass the river to the park. You could rent the bicycle and should try the night tour.

Cát Tiên National Park is a vast national park of its kind. It has everything under one roof. It is a whole ecosystem basically. From museums, a Bear Rescue centre, Primate Centre (unfortunately closed at the the time we visited) Night safari. The park also provides opportunities for team-building activities, field games, and bonfires, making it suitable for group trips. The nature trail offers a chance to explore unique species, and the accommodations in cabins are convenient for longer stays. Additionally, the two on-site restaurants serve delicious food. For those interested in water activities, boat trips and canoeing are available. Cycling adventures within the park are also possible. The experience of waking up to the sounds of Gibbons each morning and learning about the Giant Tung Tree adds to the natural beauty and educational aspect of the park. The knowledgeable guides are a valuable resource for visitors, readily answering questions and providing information.

I'm giving it a 5 purely because of the nature. I did not stay in any of the accommodation over there or eat at the resturant.

We crossed on the boat around 9am in the morning, buy you entry ticket/boat ticket from the information kiosk before you walk down to the boat launch. It's 60k per person, this is entry fee to the park and keeps the park making money for maintenence and wages. Seen other people in reviews moaning about how expensive the boat ticket is so thought I'd explain.
The park is big and we chose to hire the bikes for 8 hours for 150k. This is expensive for renting any bike and the quality of bikes arnt great as others have said but there's not much choice unless your accommodation has some to hire. We chose mountain bike style with newish tyres and breaks that worked as part of the trails dirt track. There is some kind of tourist shuttle bus if you didnt want to cycle but we didn't enquire into the frequency.
Make sure to take plenty of water, some food and bug repellent. We didn't bother with leech socks as it's dry season.

The wildlife is amazing, saw black shanked douc langursand, silvered langurs and macaques. We heard the gibbons and when trekking through the jungle but didn't see them. Lots of birds, lizards and insects. A large snake that was a bit close for comfort but amazing. Lots of beautiful old trees and fantastic jungle.

The parks not great at information so take pictures of any map you see and screenshot the one online before you go out of the signal zone. Theres a big map with the trails and there difficulty rating in the headquarters. The further into the park you get on the concrete path the less signage there is for the trekking trails and other attractions whichbis why ots good to have the photo maps on yoir phone. The 7km one we chose got hard to follow as it's just paint on trees and not that well maintaoned so we used our GPS to get us back onto the main path once we got near it after 2 hours of trekking.

We did one long and intense day but I would take two if you not physically confident or want a bit more of a leisurely time. You can do most of it in a day if ya don't do the trekking.

Perfect getaway from Saigon for the weekend. Best option is to hire a bike on arrival, but do early morning to be able to see everything. Visitor maps provided free with tickets. Also night tour worth doing, so spend the night at a nearby homestay.

The park is great. Nature, animals and finally nearly no trash. We were lucky to see some animals (crocodiles, monkeys and birds).
Don't forget to buy a ticket for the crocodile lake at the park entrance (245k/person). Expensive ... but we saw a lot of crocodiles :)
We did a bike trip on our own. The road is a little bit bumpy on the very first kilometers, but after the intersection where you go into the direction of the crocodile lake it's absolutely fine. From the crocodile lake to the Ficus the road is much worse. I would always recommend renting some bikes outside of the park. The bikes in the park are old city-bikes, especially if you want to drive further than to the crocodile lake. The last 5 km to the lake you have to walk anyway.

In most of the national parks in Vietnam it's hard to see widlife because of intense poaching. Cat Tien NP is an exception: with a bit of luck and patience you can see a few primate species by walking or cycling in the park or taking a boat trip on the river. The park is well organized with a ferry taking you from the site where all the guesthouses acrosse the river to the site where the park is. You can walk on your own, guide is not necesarry. Or you can rent a bicycle for half a day or a full day. We spent 3 days in the park and spotted 4 species of primates and some squirrel species. The only disappointment was the gibbon tour. The tour is quite expensvie and lasts only a bit more than 1 hour. You start early (when it's still dark) and wait untill the gibbons start singing. The guides only speak some English and will not bring you in the best position to take pictures. Although it's still dark, the ferry will run for the tourists who have booked a gibbon tour.

We walked through the park and took the turn for the botanical gardens.
We saw a tortoise chillin’ but carried on for about half a mile and walked along the gravel and saw a troop of black - shanked Douc so close. We saw another troop further along and the same one again on the walk back. Absolutely incredible to see. Would recommend patience and long socks- I was attacked by tiny leeches and had a melt down deet 95 is an absolute vibe. So fun

Important advice:
The website is terrible! You need to book any of the trips at your stay, or right in front of the ferry at the service center. You basically can't find any information on the website.
BUT, the park is definitely worth a visit. If you take a walk silently, you will be able to see many Gibbons.
We started with the boat trip in the morning and just walked for 7km and saw like 2 or 3 groups of apes jumping through the trees. It's really nice to observe these animals living in a safe place with contact to humans held low.

Very well-preserved jungle with organized bike trips and night sightseeing.

Anyone reading my review, please keep the jungle as it is during your visit. Don’t litter, carve on trees, or bring anything home as souvenirs (except those sold by the locals of course 🤣)

We loved to cycle with our rental bikes along the well-enough paved roads of the park; to enjoy seeing the crocodiles feasting on fish in the lake; to admire the magnificent, jaw dropping 400+ yo trees and above all, we loved the Gibbons' trek experience at sunrise.. this park was for us one of the highlights of our travel in Vietnam, despite it not being too easy to reach and unfortunately lacking general information.

We spent 3D2N there. The park has website and is quite responsive so it is easy to plan our trip.
First day Saigon-Nam Cat Tien Park:
We checked in to our room which is inside the park and had lunch at Tre Vang restaurant, beef sauteed forest harvested veggies. The room with queen bed and separate bathroom is clean, very spacious and well ventilated. We then headed out to rent bikes and began exploring around. The park is quite easy to navigate and has clear signages on the road to signal the sightseeings located in the woods. We had to park our bikes outside on the pathway and walk in to the forest. Here we encoutered the leeches for the first time. Make sure to wear high ankle socks and long pants. We ended our day with the satisfying Lau Ca Lang, hotpot with Lang fish, bamboo shoots in sour and sweet broth.
Second day Crocodile Lake:
Breakfast with hearty Bun Suon Moc at Tre Vang restaurant. We took a jeep 13km into the woods and continued to trek for 5km more to reach Crocodile Lake. We was very much welcomed by the forest guards after being much traumatized by the leech apocalyse on the way trekking there. We chose to stay in a wooden house looking out to the lake with separate bathroom. Pretty much private and poetic when it rains. We got served lunch and dinner in the concept of 50 shades of cooking fish caught in the lake by the forest guards. They also took us around the lake to take in the landscape. At night, we could see the crocodiles emerging and hunting. However, the stary night was the most unforgetable moment as we have never seen that many while living in the city.
Third day Crocodile Lake-Nam Cat Tien Park-Saigon:
In the early morning, the forest guard fed the crocodiles with all the leftover food and we could see them in day light more clearly. The landscape was quite blurry because of fog but somehow to me it was more captivating.
We equiped ourselves quite hard to cope with the 5km trekking nightmare, but turned out it was not as bad as the last time, maybe because there were lots of people going in to the lake on our way out, the leeches got them first already =D.
Lunch with roasted Lang fish and forest harvested veggies
Overall, the nature is worth all the hassles with leeches. The food there was a highlight of the trip as well, some of them we can't find elsewhere but there. The staff and forest guards were overworldly nice and helpful, glad to meet and talk to them.

140km distance from HCM city, an awesome place to refresh your soul in jungle. Food are good with fish and chicken, service fee seem to be high with personal traveller but reasonable for a team with 6-7 members. Go go

Ah we loved this place! It was enough for us to stay for 3 days and 2 nights but being there was lovely. The sound of the animals especially the gibbons are truly amazing for us. We found a lot of birds and our tour guide introduced us to many different kinds of trees. We went biking to Heaven's rapids on a path where birds and insects never stop singing!

Great tour to enjoy the forest atmostphere at night. If you're lucky, you can see various kinds of animal living in the forest.

Enthusiastic tour guides with helpful information about old trees.
Luckily we have seen a herd of bisons on the night tour.
