An Bang Cemetery CITY OF GHOSTS

Very impressive. We heard about this cemetery for many years and finally got a chance to visit. Some families will build their mausoleums before they die, and some are built by children for their parents.

The City of Ghosts Hue is s a famous cemetery, it is consider the most luxurious and magnificent cemetery in Vietnam. It is located in the fishing village of An Bang. Thua Thien - Hue province, which is 35 km east of Hue City. There are thousands of tombs of all colors and sizes, some of which are worth billions of VND.

Massive and super impressive cemetery with extravagantly designed mausoleums! Def worth a visit and it’s not a place that tourists go to so it’s not overcrowded with tourists and you can spend some quality time admiring the tombs and maybe encounter some spirits ;)

Incredible place between danang and hue ( close to hue) not to miss . A real cemetery with extra giant tombs over km2 . Very impressive and never saw that anywhere else in Vietnam ( and asia)

This is a very special village (Lang An Bang) due to its unique cemeteries and tombs, which are well decorated with many colors and shapes. Some of them are very old (dated back in the 1900s) and others are more modern (2010s) with Buddha statues. Every tomb is unique and has a special meaning to it. People say it's the city of ghosts, which is true. But don't let that frighten you. This is worth a visit to see what makes this village so special.

This is one of the hidden site about 40km away from the City of Hue is the An Bang City of Ghosts. Tombs are spread across a stretch of few kilometers near the Thuan An Beach. The tombs were elaborately designed and built under Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism, Vietnamese, Chinese and Western architectural influences. A must visit for tourist looking for a rare & unique experience near Hue.

When the Vietnam war finishied many Vietnamese fled the country by boat. Regretfully some died in their attemps but some found new countries to live in. As the years past those vietnamese who went to America sent money back to relatives so they could build graves for their dead. With such a lot of money coming in the remaining relatives went over the top and build massive morsalium styled graves. This is must go and see and experienceto walk around with very few other tourist and experience the colour, forms and shapes generated.

Espectacular cementerio lleno de tumbas que parecen templos. Nosotros hicimos la hai van pass desde da nang hasta hue y pasamos por aquí ya que hay que desviarse muy poco y vale la pena.

Der Friedhof hat meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Es ist ein sehr großes Gelände mit unglaublich vielen, schön verzierten Grabstätten. Hier kann man Stunden verbringen. Der Ausflug lässt sich auch super mit einem Abstecher zum Meer kombinieren.

Очень необычное и интересное песто. Целый город с гробницами! Все яркие и интересные. Советую заехать, если будете поблизости!

Einmalig die Gräber in City of Ghosts - An Bang Cemetery. Man erzählt dass man nicht bis zum Dunkel da bleiben soll.
