Phuong Thao Homestay

Probably the warmest welcome I had in all Vietnam, which is a very welcoming country, that is to say.. A big thanks for that!

Food is great, bicycles are given for free, rooms are comfortable and very typical, the swimming pool is awesome and the boat tour is beautiful!

One of the highlights of our Vietnam-Trip! We only stayed for one night but we could have easily stayed for longer in this lovely homestay, eating the delicious (and inexpensive!) home-cooked food in the beautiful eating area, overlooking the litte ponds in front of the bungalows and admiring the fruit trees, other plants and animals that have made their home there. The area is perfect to explore with bikes (that you can take for free) and to get a feeling of the astonishing Mekong landscapes by taking little paths through fields of Jackfruit, Banana, Coconut and Papaya trees.
The host was very warm and welcoming, and he arranged for 2 motorbike-drivers to take us all the way to a bus station where he also called the bus company to make sure we got a place on the bus to Ha Tien. All in all, a definitve gem of Southern Vietnam!

Really beautiful relaxing place. Lie in a hammock and listen to the racket made by the cicadas. Run by a lovely family. Great food and we got to make our own pancakes. The rooms are airy with fans and mosquito nets on the beds.

Nice experience in a stunning place ! Staff is very friendly. The rooms are marvellous they are all build in the same house and everything is in wood. It’s open at all sides you just have a door for your room. Breakfast is ok. You can see the water and boats from the side of the hotel. It’s a very very peaceful place 😊 price is around 12 usd

In the middle of the nature, very Basic setup

Very chilled and pitoresque place. We spent 3 nights here chilling in the hammocks in the shade, riding bycicles around the canals (for free) and eating delicious food. True 'rural life' vacation!

Excellent place to take a break far from everything. We were able to rent scooters and look all over the place. The food was pretty good too.

Lovely river activities and orchards nearby

Staff is very nice and helpful, from the owner who speak impeccable english to the staff who are learning and making good efforts.

Très jolie guest house, le jardin est magnifique rempli de fleurs. Très propre. Les chambres sont propre et très sympa mais peu d intimité avec les voisins. Tout autour Très belle promenade au milieu des canaux et de la vie locale. On peut louer des vélos ou faire un tour de bateaux sur le Mekong et dans les canaux . Très peu de choix pour les repas mais très bon. Nous avons passé un agréable moment et de repos dans cet établissement familial. La piscine se situe juste à côté c'est le même propriétaire.
