Mu Cang Chai Big view homestay

WOW what a place.

I stayed here for one night and couldn't recommend coming here enough.

The location is fantastic and I woke up to one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.

The food was delicious and the hosts incredibly accomodating from start to finish.

The fireplace was a nice touch especially with the cooler nights here in northern Vietnam during late November.

My only criticism was it got pretty cold during the night when I was in bed. Wrap up and wear some longer clothes and you'll be fine.

Other than that you need to come here!!

Fantastic views and wonderful hosts. Honestly the most comfortable homestay we have stayed at in Vietnam. Rooms are basic with thin walls (or curtains if you stay in the ’dorm’ bed side), but the beds are clean and very comfortable. Hot showers and surprisingly great wifi. Food is delicious and plentiful. The owners are a very sweet young couple who speak English well and are very helpful. The place is remote, but I would suggest staying here instead of in town due to the views and more relaxed atmosphere. We went on a few day treks from the homestay that were great. A motorbike would be helpful if you want to see more of the viewpoint which they rent at the homestay.

A bit off the beaten path but well worth the extra efforts to get there. The view is unbelievably beautiful evening, night or day. The food was fresh and delicious. The young bamboo shoots were the best thing I've tasted in the land of delicious food. The family that owns and run the place was lovely. The rooms, coming area and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.

The best place to stay in Mu Cang Chai! My husband and I spent three nights at Big View Homestay and couldn’t have loved it more. Everything was very clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and of course the view was amazing. You can do some great trekking right from the homestay or they have motorbikes for rent. Stay here! You won’t regret it!

Basic but clean rooms with shared bathrooms. Very thin walls if you are a light sleeper. Great place to come with a group. Manager spoke English well, the food was awesome, and the view is truly unbeatable.

In over 30 different homestays I’ve been to in northern vietnam, this one by far is the top. Incredible view, excellent staff, clean, and comfortable. The property manager speaks excellent English and is very accommodating. The villagers surrounding the homestay are also very kind and always waving and smiling back. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Located on top of a hillside, this homestay really offers incredible views. The owner is kind, helpful and prepares a dinner for his guests. During and after the dinner we chatted for quite long as the owner was also interested in my background which then didn't feel like one sided questioning.
The place is clean and neat.

Our stay here was amazing. The accomodation has an incredible view although the road is a bit crazy. But the host will take care for all and help you with everything. He also cooks everyday for their guests so it’s another huge advantage of this places because you can try a local food. Highly recommend this place :)

I went to Mu Cang Chai Big View homestay recently and the real experience exceeded all the expectations I had.

The amazing service starts even before you step in the homestay. Upon booking, I was contacted to confirm all the details and was given very detailed instructions how to get to the location. Customer aftercare is great also.

Simple lifestyle I would say regard facilities, but great ambience and services.

The host is such an amazing professional and just a wonderful person to have a chat with. Love his service level and attitude toward to work.

Home stay with some best views of terrace paddy fields to offer. Small but clean rooms. Whole building made up of wood.

Common washroom was clean and most importantly, the host was very nice and good hospitality.

Paradise on Earth. Chua is a Fantastic host! Would stay here a few weeks!!!

A place to stay for rice terrace view, on top of the hill & on the path way to Lung Cung mountain. I had a great time here with good dinner, helpful owner who took me a ride from Mu Cang Chai to Muong La, Son La to catch the bus

Location is perfect, the owner is very friendly and cooks nice meals. Bed was a bit hard but mosquito nets are available.
The way up is quite steep, don't try it in the dark ;)

Amazing view, good food, very dedicated owner with even some English knowledge. Rooms are ok - mattress is quite comfy. Breakfast & coffe are super.

Best place to stay around Mu Cang... Beautiful view, lovely owner,great chef cook. I stayed two days and really enjoyed it. On WE his Friends arrived and we had amazing Lunch togheter 🍜🍻🍲🥢🙏

Ich hatte eine kurze, aber wunderschöne Zeit hier. Ich war allein mit der Familie, die so lecker für mich gekocht hat! Allgemein habe ich mich super wohl gefühlt. Wunderschöne Landschaft, tolle Unterkunft und sehr nette Leute. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen🌿🌼🌞

Trải nghiệm tuyệt vời tại một nơi rất chill(4-5/10/2023). Mình đặt phòng ở đây theo nhân phẩm( bốc thăm 1 trong các home khá nổi tại MCC) và sau khi bốc trúng MCC Big View Homestay mk đã xem qua review, thấy mn đánh giá cũng khá ok. Đúng là vẫn có điểm trừ ở mục di chuyển khoảng 100-200m cuối do đường đất và dốc nhưng với người hay đi phượt như mình thì cx bthg. Nếu đi đông ng thì các bạn nên tham khảo trc nhé, tiêu chuẩn phòng là 2 người nhưng khi nhận phòng thì mk thấy cx khá rộng và 4 đứa ngủ chung 1 phòng cũng vẫn ok mặc dù mk vẫn đặt 2 phòng😆. View thì rất ok rồi, chỉ có điều lúc mk đến là thời điểm xung quanh đã gặt hết nên view có núi là chính thôi à. Bên dưới là trung tâm xã Chế Cu Nha, tuy còn khá nhỏ nhưng những dịch vụ cần thiết đã phát triển nhiều. Ở Home này khá là nhiều người nước ngoài book, lợi thế là do chủ home biết tiếng anh và có booking trên Agoda. Chủ Home rất thân thiện và nhiệt tình, anh chị trẻ và là người bản địa. Do không ăn uống ở Home nên mk không review đồ ăn nhưng nghe mọi người nói thì cx rất ổn. Buổi tối ở đây lạnh nhưng trong phòng thì cực kỳ ấm áp, không gian bên trong và bên ngoài thiết kế với nhiều góc checkin đẹp. Có 2 phòng tắm và 1 WC dùng chung, khi tắm các bạn lưu ý đừng xả nước hết cỡ nhé, không phải mk lo tốn nước đâu, mà mk lo xả mạnh quá, đang tắm mà hết nước nóng là vui luôn đấy:)). Mù căng chải Big View Home stay thiết kế theo lối nhà sàn ngăn phòng, trên tầng 2 có phòng ghép. Nếu chỗ cửa sổ có thể bớt đi ít cây chắn tầm nhìn thì view chắc sẽ được 8/10. Hôm mình đi cũng có kỉ niệm rất đặc biệt, đó là ngày sinh nhật của ông bạn thân, tụi mình mang bánh sinh nhật từ TT Mù căng chải lên Móng ngưa, chụp chán rồi lại mang về Homestay tổ chức cái sinh nhật tới mấy lần😁. Cuối cùng điểm mình yêu thích ở đây là nó ở giữa các điểm nổi tiếng ở MCC nên di chuyển cũng khá tiện, nếu các bạn có dịp tới MCC thì có thể tham khảo nha❤

Nhóm mình đi 14 người và tất cả đều rất hài lòng với homestay này. Mặc dù đường đi vào homestay hơi vất 1 chút nhưng bù lại các bạn sẽ có view chỗ ở, ăn sáng cafe, ngắm hoàng hôn tuyệt vời. Vợ chồng bạn chủ cũng rất thân thiện & nhiệt tình. Mình ở đó 2 đêm, 1 bữa ăn lẩu & 1 bữa gói món, đồ ăn ngon & giá cả hợp lý. Highly recommended.
