Fermented Hanoi

Best sourdough bread outside of San Francisco! I buy 10 loafs at a time slice, bag and freeze them, and if I'm lucky they last me a few weeks. They are quality all around and they are delivered still warm - ya they are that fresh! I cut my own but if you ask they will slice the loafs for you. They have a wide variety of breads for every taste, but Im hooked on the Sourdough.

Visit this Bakery & Café during our 3 days stay in Hanoi. Mostly to order one piece of gluten-free bread to my sone. The atmosphere was great and the staff was supportive. Perfect for a short coffee (especially coco nut ice coffee).
We ordered the gluten-free bread for my son and they delivered it to our hotel next coming day. We recommend this bakery, especially if you want GF bread in Hanoi.

Breads are great! It looks beautiful and tastes stunning. Highly recommend to ones who love sourdough breads. Would like to order more soon.

Easily the best sourdough in Hanoi. This is artisan bread at its very best. Sustainable ingredients, sustainable production and most importantly fabulous quality and taste. Plus great vegan spreads and fermented drinks, the beet kvass is my favourite. And lovely people making it from the heart. Never any leftovers, too delicious not to eat !

We’ve just moved to Hanoi and Fermented was recommended to us by friends, so we tried it and absolutely love their bread. The potato and rosemary focaccia is our favourite but we are slowly working our way through the menu and have loved everything we’ve bought so far.

Recently, I purchased a 1-litre Kombucha bottle from Fermented and totally in love with it ♪ Easy to order thru their simple yet lovely website and its taste is heavenly perfect for a brekkie. Which is even more fantastic, I got a "Yang" sourdough as a gift from chi Nhung, Fermented's current "dishwasher" haha. A little bit jam on some bread together with a small cup of kombucha should be all everyone needs to start a day! ☺
