I think everyone required a visa. Make sure you got a visa before coming to Vietnam. I saw people return back where they come from in the airport. New airport, everything is ok. I didn't get any issue and got my luggage so quickly.

The busiest and largest airport in the North of Vietnam, always crowded. Passangers should be arrive this airport at least 1 hour prior to departure time. Restrooms are clean, there’re many cafes and restaurants inside, but they’re expensive.

(Arrivals hall) Small but clean. Not too crowded on a Monday morning. Going through immigration took less than 30 secs. With drinking fountain. Didn't see any hot water. Fuss-free and no hassle.

Red eye flight to Manila , but a very functional modern airport .

Clean, well marked airport. Reasonable priced food, simple cards & money changers ( for an airport). Clean restrooms. Some English spoken. Overall friendly workers except for customs snd immigration officials - no surprise there.

I enjoyed the free shuttle from International to Domestic airport. It will be so nice if they have some halal food tenants for muslim traveler.

In airport have lots of Vietnamese product but best is coffee and purses which is feel so cool.my favourite chocolate shop also here royce choclates in Jalux dutyfree Vietnam shops has this chocolate. So soft choclate cake. I post pics so anyone wants they will buy easily.

At arrival you will find duty free shops. You will find many shops offering sim cards and money exchange. Pre book your cab to reach to Hanoi city. Your cab driver or grab application will let you know pillar number where you can find your cab.

Airport like any other new airport clean quite and has lot of shops to buy souvenirs/ food and duty free . Not expensive , the immigration is super quick and the staff at the airport is quite helpful and friendly .

If you're staying in the Old Quarter, you can take bus 17 to Long Biên. Next to the domestic arrival hall exit there is the busstop.
It will go all the way to the Long Biên station (after the Cau/Bridge Long Biên). From there, you can walk to the Old Quarter.
One way costs 9.000 VND.

Small airport and it's not too busy. You can easily cross all the formalities in no time. You can easily reach 2 hour before (for international flights).

You can enjoy clicking pics at photobooth, it has all typical restaurants, gifts shops, wine shops and other general items.

Clean and has toilets at some distance. Enough capacity for seating near the boarding are. Charging stations are available for your laptops and mobile phones.

This airport is very clean, good restaurants inside, gift shops,duty free shop, clean restrooms. We did not encounter any problem upon our arrival and departure, it's a pleasant experience. I hope to visit Vietnam again😊

Arrival and Departure are smooth. (For international) Friends and families can come into the airport upto security to send you off at departure. The airport is clean and restrooms are well maintained.
The counters of all flights are easy to find. The immigration officers are generally decent and friendly.

The airport is amazingly clean and spotless. The staff are friendly and helpful. The process of immigration and checkin takes less time and are extremely convenient. Love the airport. The duty free shop looks so plush and luxurious. They have developed an amazing airport.

New, clean, and organized terminal. Several restaurants to choose from. Food are typical airport price Burger King meal ~$15, basic small Pho $6-7, larger size Pho $10. Most prices are in usd. Souvenir shops are almost identical.
