Chau Thoi Buddhist Temple

Up top a plateau sits a Temple with a nice scenic view of 360°. This Buddhist temple have offering you can pray to and you can also buy incense from the guy at the front gate of the temple if you wish to pray.

Very beautiful place. Nice stuffs and many trees.
Some tips:
1. Parking inside the temple, don't pack in at the foot of the hill.
2. You can bring fruites to feed monkey.
3. You should visit in the early morning or in the evening to avoid heat.

Set at the top of a mountain, this temple offers stunning scenery for contemplation.
With several Buddha's in a short distance and some rather gorgeous carvings, this was well worth the visit.

Not too much noisy or crowded. No begger & shopper to annoy us like other big pagoda.

This pagoda stands out on top of the hill with panoramic views. Yes. its situated near many quarries but forget your surroundings and immerse yourself in the temple.
The huge statues and roaming golden dragons make this a must see.
Don't try to be too friendly to the monkeys but if you leave them alone they will you aswell.
I went in the afternoon, it was quiet with very people.

Chau Thoi Pagoda is a pagoda that was built on Chau Thoi mountain a long time ago. To this day, the pagoda has undergone many modifications and maintenance, making the pagoda beautiful and standing to this day. On this mountain, there have always been monkeys living here around this temple. The path to the temple from the foot of the mountain is quite high, but you will be able to reach the temple without having to stretch your legs. Please experience once going to Chau Thoi pagoda.

Beautiful place of worship for the locals. Architecture and craftsmanship that went into some of these statues is absolutely outstanding. Definitely worth the trip out of the city to see it.

Good bicycle ride to the top. Also the view is good. A good place to see some monkeys.

Lovely temple on the top of the hill. The climb was easy, just bring a lot of water. Parking is down by the stairs. Pure and spiritual, this place has lovely nature all around and beautiful views.
