I was still recovering from a bout of food poisoning in HCM when I checked in to this hotel. Thus, I decided to take things easy and spent most of my first 3 days in Danang recuperating in the hotel room. My room was a bit old, with some stuff like the TV not working, but more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Despite the bustle from a busy Korean restaurant opposite during dinner time, the hotel’s location is mostly quiet and a mere 20 min walk to the beach.

On the 4th day, I felt well enough to start venturing out so I rented a bike from the hotel and zoomed around happily. Conveniently, I could always park my bike in the lobby whenever I return to the hotel. The receptionist, Huyen, can speak English moderately so whole conversations are possible, albeit with some help from Google Translate. I enjoyed chatting with her ever so often during my stay there. All the hotel staff I met were polite and friendly, but Huyen never fail to make my day with her enthusiastic banter and ready smile. Even after she got reprimanded by the lady boss right in front of me. Ouch!

At one point, I requested for a kettle but since the hotel didn’t have one, I’m told that I could get hot water from the staff room whenever I want. I decided not to go to all that trouble and resigned myself to a day of drinking cold water. Imagine my surprise after that when Huyen knocked on my door with the biggest hot water flask I've ever seen in my life! Later on in my stay, I discovered a small packet of clothes detergent among my toiletries in the bathroom. Noticing that I wash my own clothes, the cleaning lady had slipped the packet of detergent into my stash unbidden. Beautiful touches of warmth like this makes this hotel 5 stars in my book.

Very good price with excellent service and super clean rooms

Good location , near the beach , nice big bright rooms. Good space on the 6th floor to have a beer or take in the view.the only downside is dealing with some of the reception staff as they dont have great English.

Everything was great but nobody was able to say two words in english
