Delicious food just like (Vietnamese) grandma used to make as per our tour guides. Beautiful and historically rich decor. The soup and rice bun was AMAZING!

I’m not sure whether tourists/expats will enjoy it as much as Vietnamese northerners do. Food isn’t fancy but very tasty and will definitely bring back fond childhood memories that warm your heart.

Good and the only resto in Hanoi that serves the nostalgic food dated from the old times of subsidies and ration period during the 70s and 80s in Vietnam.

Love coming to this family style restaurant. Simple dishes, great area, good ambience and service. ✔✔✔

Great food and prices & a menu in English is available. Very cool themed restaurant. You can ask to sit upstairs in a private room with low table & seat cushions. The room is air-conditioned and has a fan.

Loved this place. They did not actually have us exchange tickets for food. The food was delicious. One of the meats had a lot of fat and I assume that was a history lesson, but I didn't eat all the fat.

A great place for Vietnamese food.

I do not want to be too positive about this restaurant because I do not want everyone to find out about this amazing unique special place. Everything inside this restaurant remind you of the old Vietnam before and during the war. This is one of my favourite restaurants because of its food but also because of the decoration and the vibe of the restaurant

Simply delicious food with fascinating historical decor. Would recommend the fried rice (inverted bowl shaped) and tofu in onion sauce.
