Shrimp Vietnamese pancake (bánh xèo tôm) is a signature meal of Quy Nhơn city. This restaurant is one of the best. We ordered one shrimp and one beef pancakes for two people.
For solo traveler, you can order only one.
How to eat:
First, cut Vietnamese pancake into 1/4 with a scissors.(easier for rolling)
Second, take one rice paper.
Third, put the ingredients on the rice paper.
Four, you can make a roll.
Fifth, dip your roll to a sauce and enjoy!

Quite greasy and pricey but I like the crispiness of the pancake and great taste

Took awhile to find this place as it is away from the city centre and has a lot less traffic.

Warning: staff does not speak english but knows how to let you choose your dish. Basically the staff will take out a small sample of beef and prawn for you to pick which to choose. After which, you will be given 2 pancakes per person.

How to eat was shown by the staff: by wrapping the vegetables and pancake together, then dipping the chili.

We opted to take away as there was a lot leftover after eating. At point of review it costed 25,000 dong per pancake so it worked out to be 100,000 for 2 people, which was definitely worth it.

It’s as good as they say it is! Top notch taste “bánh xèo mực, bò, trứng, tôm”, “chả ram”, “nước nha đam”. “Sữa bắp” is watered down though. Food comes fast for a moderately busy night. Very cheap! Service was good (you really need to know Vietnamese to ask for what you want though).

Staff are very friendly. Us being foreigners, they could tell that we didn't really know how to wrap a rice paper roll haha so they showed us the proper technique. Food is all very fresh and it's a really nice bustling atmosphere

Delightful family restaurant serving traditional Vietnamese Pancakes. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful - and when enjoyed with a beer, it is an authentic dining experience! The beef or prawn pancakes are great, and there is always a non-meat option if you prefer. Cut your pancake into slices, wrap with leaves, herbs, green mango and cucumber - and don't forget the mindblasting chilli. Come hungry and leave very satisfied.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The banh xeo is right there with the bests I've ever had. The service was good and everybody is super kind with you, even right when you arrive with your bike, as they help you park it haha!

Now... For the food... The FOOD! It was turbo delicious! We will go back there when/if we go back to Qhy Nhon!

Good banh xeo. Had both beef and shrimp. 1 of each between 2 was enough to be honest. We had 4 pancakes and were rather stuffed. They also sell various other things like banh gai etc. Only criticism might be the pancakes were a little oily.

You have to come to this restaurant if you are in the area. It was the first time we tried the pancake. We got the prawn pancake and you roll it in a rice paper roll with veggies. Tasted so good! Would love to come back.

Delicious fried pancakes, topped with various meats or shrimps, onions and other veggies that you wrap in rice paper. Get at least two per person, or more if your mouth is running the show. ;)

What can I say … amazing food, served fresh, fast and friendly… I had the egg pancake and shrimps and I am more than happy to go to bed! … they show and explain how to roll the rice paper into a first spring roll … so good, I already think about coming back tomorrow although I leave tomorrow 🙈 … I paid 74,000 dong including one beer …

Best food experience since we got to Vietnam! They speak a bit of English, enough to understand each other. The owner showed us a plate with a shrimp and a sample of beef for us to decide. It was our first time eating bánh xèo, they even showed us how to prepare and eat the rolls because we had no idea. We highly recommend this place!

Summer rolls for a good price with vietnamese pancakes. The price is 26k VND per summer roll including vegetables, rice paper and pancakes. You roll the stuff yourself. The staff doesn't speak English but they know how to conversate.
It's not a place for a long romantic dining but a very tasty and authentic place. Definitely a recommendation.

Banh Xeo is one of the good local foods in Quy Nhon. There are many places like this on this road. When you get here, you need to stick with your decision because the shop wavers in the front of the shops will try to grab you away. I went to Gia Vy as a recommendation from the receptionist in the hotel where we stayed. The food here is very good. The crust was crispy, the seafood and vegetables to go with it were fresh too. Besides the main dish, you can have desserts on the side dish which are good too.

Excellence banh xeo. Squid and shrimp varieties in particular need to be tried. Friendly service.
