Wow
What amazing place. Beautiful
Didn't think Viet Nam have a place like this
Don't miss out.
This is it. Very busy place. You won't regret of it. Remember to wear proper shoes to walk. A huge place. Well they do have electric cart drive location to location. But still have to walk up and down.
Great place to check-in
Will go again summer time.

Beautiful temple in very huge area. Ticket is VND 270,000 for ferry to arrive and Eletric car to be back. You can choose hop in and out with VND 400,000. Or more option. Ticket is bit confused but staff can explain In english.

The entire area is absolutely huge, you can get to the pagoda part of the tourist attraction by electric car or by boat.

Although the main pagoda area was still under construction, the pagodas themselves were pretty much finished, and they were massive.

Overall the place was very picturesque with a huge body of water on one side and mountain and forests on the other.

Climbing up the what seemed to be an enternity of steps (the journey is not recommended for hot days as we barely made it on a cloudy one), the view when we finally reached the highest point of the attraction was definitely worth it as it was breathtaking, you feel as though you are one with nature and are standing right in the center of it.

Tam Chúc is definitely worth a visit if you're near the area as the scope of the place is like none other.

Biggest Pagoda in Vietnam

Tam Chuc Pagoda festival has attracted thousands of pilgrimages in the early days of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year since its official open on 16th February 2019. The pagoda lies within the Tam Chuc Tourist Complex which covers a total area of 5,000 ha. Situated in the North of Ha Nam Province, Tam Chuc Pagoda is 60 km from Hanoi and it is being built on the foundation of the former pagoda and surrounded by newly built structures, a parking lot, an immense lake system, and lush forests.

♿ Wheelchair-friendly place. Huge area to travel and always keep someone to push your wheelchair. You can use 6-seater free electric buggies that are available to travel around the main roads. Some places are not wheelchair accessible but you can travel with someone's help. Disabled toilets are very clean. Always travel with someone, who can help you. Beautiful Vietnam Buddhist temple. I really recommend it to wheelchair travelers. You have to spend a full day covering the attractions. Always ask staff to help. Staff will help you to get into the boat. Wheelchair people can't travel to the main temple, but you can enter the first temple. but you can see the main temple. Always use the google translate app to talk with them. Thanks

The Tam Chuc Buddhist Cultural Complex, covering nearly 5,100ha in Ba Sao town, Kim Bang district, in the Northern province of Ha Nam, is one of the largest Buddhist Cultural Complexes in Vietnam and was selected to host the UN Day of Vesak 2019 (Buddha's Birthday, Enlightenment and Passing Away). Behind the Tam Chuc Pagoda is the That Tinh Mountain and facing the pagoda is Luc Nhac Lake including six rocky islands, which are said to be the six bells brought down from heaven to the lake. The pagoda wall was rebuilt with 12,000 stone paintings depicting the legends of Buddha craved into the volcano rock by Indonesian artisans and a garden of 1,000 stone pillars carved with Buddhist teachings. The Ngoc Pagoda is built on the top of the That Tinh Mountain and is made of 2000-tonne stone blocks jointly constructed by Indian and Vietnamese engineers. The International Convention Centre serving the UN Day of Vesak is located within the Tam Chuc complex and is built in a shape of a floating boat on a lake. During the UN Day of Vesak 2019 from May 12-14, the centre is expected to welcome about 1,650 international delegates from 112 countries and territories and more than 20,000 domestic delegates. With the beautiful landscape and cool climate, the area of Tam Chuc Pagoda is considered as "Ha Long on land" of Ha Nam province, which promises to be an interesting and impressive place for the delegates.

This temple resides on a large area of land. I do not know how many hectars. You cross the lake in a boat , the sites are interesting.

Volunteering in Tam Chuc Temple in Feb 16th 2018 is wonderful memory. I can see a lot of beautiful scenes, thousands of visitors and enormous Budda's Statues. There are green hills of moutains, deep blue water and ancient buildings. Everything makes it impressive to experience once in my life.
