I have been struggling for years with my teeth. I wanted to get it done so much in the US but it is just ridiculously expensive. Having to wear a partial denture since about two years ago, i hate it so much. Somehow, the food never tasted the same anymore. Also, i couldn’t chew very well with the partial denture. I knew, i needed to get my teeth fixed but wasn’t sure how and where to get it done until i met Dr. Thuy Duong.

I was fortunate to get to know Dr. Thuy Duong through my brother (he is from the US but have been living in Da Nang for many years). He recommended her dental office since she has been his primary dentist and did exceptional works for him and his fiancé’s family. To be honest, I have the option to go to many countries to get my teeth done. Even in Vietnam, i have the option to go to Ha Noi or Saigon but i picked Da Nang mainly because of Dr. Thuy Duong’s reputation. Also, Da Nang is a good vacation spot. It was like a dream come true for me, i can have a mini vacation while getting my teeth done at the same time.

Before reaching out to Dr Thuy Duong, i have consulted with various dental offices in Viet Nam. Somehow, i wasn’t impressed from the interactions with them. Especially, they all mentioned about their team and how big their office is. From my personal experience, my teeth were worked on by many dentists in the US and i have to live with the consequences many years later. For me, I would rather deal with just one dentist, who will care for me from A to Z.

If i tell you that i had 25 teeth worked on by Dr. Duong, you know my condition was bad. My teeth were also discolored over the years from nicotine stained. I was so embarrassed with my smile, but not today. I am so thankful for a new set of teeth that I can smile on with confidence. I can also chew the food without having to worry about the partial denture might fall off (it has happened a few times and i even got choke on it). And yes, the food tastes so much better.

If you are experiencing dental issues like me, please don’t delay any further. It will be the best decison that you would ever made for yourself. For me, i was just blown away of how quickly I could get my teeth fixed and how inexpensive it was. It was a fraction of how much that i would have paid in the US. To give you a better perspective, it’s about 1/6 of i would have paid in the US and 30 to 40 percents less than i would have paid in Mexico. However, it ‘s not about the money, it ‘s the quality of care that I received from Dr. Thuy Duong that is priceless!!

Pior to coming to Da Nang, i have exchanged many emails with Dr. Thuy Duong. Whatever was the concerned i had , she addressed them all for me. About me, I am a borderline diabetic and unsure if what i would like to accomplish with my teeth would worked. She assured me with different options and made me feel at ease. She was also unfront with the treatment plan, pricing etc. which I appreciated very much. Whatever your challenge might be, i am extremely confident that she will be able to help you.

Regarding to the location of the dental office, it’s about 10 minutes away from downtown Da Nang. One good thing about Da Nang is you can get Grab service to give you a ride anywhere for about $2.00 usd on a bike. Get ready to have fun being a passenger on a bike, i will leave the excitement for you to experience. LOL

I left Viet Nam about 46 years ago and have not been back. I thought it would be difficult to find a place to stay for the duration of the treatment. However, I was pleasantly surprised of how easy it was. First, you need to make a decion if you want to stay by the river or the beach? With the exception of well known hotels like Hilton or Sheraton. You can find housing (western standards) that will cost you anywhere from $15 to $40 a day. The landlord might even give a discount for long term rental as well, so please ask.
