Bạch Mã National Park

I had a trekking tour here last week, it was wonderful experience, both for the nature and the history about the area, all thanks to the local guide. If you come in the next months (march and april) the rhododendron plants wich the park is full should be blooming.

The weather here is just perfect!!! Perfect place to go hiking, swimming at waterfall on the way to the top. Beautiful beach view with a lot of protected animal… highly recommended stay a night here at the top, try out local food… will go back for peace and get away from the city

Từ điểm mua vé cho đến đỉnh núi phải hơn chục km , không được đi xe máy lên nên 1 là đi bộ 2 là thuê ô tô lên. Đường khá kiểm trở, lên cao có thể ù tai ( theo như mình cảm nhận). Lên gần đỉnh núi có một số dinh biệt thự của Pháp để lại, có bán đồ ăn nước uống. Cảnh vật thì tuyệt vời để nghỉ dưỡng, có một số địa điểm có thể check in. Rồi từ dinh thự đó mình di chuyển tầm 2km tới vị trí đi bộ lên Hải vọng đài. Mình đi bộ 1 mình từ vị trí để xe đến đỉnh Bạch Mã khá xa, giữa đường có tít và rắn cũng gây hoang mang, đi đông người chắc đỡ sợ hơn. Lên đỉnh núi nhớ rung chuông khấn rồi khi xuống làm nhẹ 1 hồi nữa nhé.(mình rung chuông để trời biết mình có tới haha) lên Hải Vọng check in các kiểu rồi xuống sớm đề phòng mưa bất chợt .

Cảnh đẹp và còn hoang sơ, sạch sẽ. Hi vọng Bạch Mã sẽ giữ mãi được như hiện tại

Bach ma national park is located in a mountainous area exactly on the border between the former North and South Vietnam. Here you can see waterfalls, cool forests and flowering rhododendrons, this area is absolutely beautiful.

About the National Park : The park has an area of approximately 22,000 square kilometers and is 1,200 meters above sea level. Moun Bach Ma has the highest peak with 1,448 meters. This makes the temperatures mush cooler and more pleasant. The name Bach Ma means 'white horse' , names after the white clound around the mountain top. The landscape at the foot of the mountain is less woody, but nice with grasslands, shrubs, countless rivers and lagoons. The higher you go, the denser the forests become.

Best time to visit: Bach Ma National Park is a forest with a great collection of animal species, therefore, the best time to explore is from December to April (dry season). This period has low rainfall offering the perfect stretch of jungle walk.

Best thing to do and see : Animals in National park , Tigers and bears use to live there but unfortunately they are not here any more. You can still find deer, ninety other mammal species, thirty species of reptiles, twenty different frogs species, But amount the Birds is absolutely overwhelming. 358 bird species,

Trekking trails: Summit hike, Five lakes trails, Rhododendron trail, Pheasant trail.

Where to stay: Camping, Homestay, Guesthouse or hotels.

Tips:
• Wear clothes with long sleeves and long pants to protect you against leaches and insects.
• If you do Trekking in the park, wear good & comfortable hiking shoes. Paths can sometimes be slippery. If you try swimming at the lakes, so take swimming clothes.
• Bring anti insect spray, Suns cream, Rain jacket protect you against against the weather.
• Bring some water and snacks for longer hikes.
• Before you go Trekking, inform yourself well about the trails and how long they take. There are maps available.
