Dien Bien Airport

I had a chance to visit the newly upgraded airport last week for a business trip. I was impressed by its modern design and facilities. The airport can accommodate planes like A321 and A320, which are suitable for short-distance flights. The check-in process was fast and easy, thanks to the self-service kiosks and facial recognition machines. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they spoke good English.

The waiting area was small but cozy and clean. There were some local dishes and snacks available at the cafeteria, which I enjoyed very much. The airport also offered a private car service for business class passengers, which was a nice touch.

No nonsense airport

Airport Opened timely prior and Closed timely after every flight... Avoid planning to hangout inside the airport too long prior to departure nor arrival

Well organized parking facilties... No traffic No hassling which is very unusual for rural settings across Asia...Passengers would feel safe and welcomed...

Visitors should consider crossing to Laos and South Western China from here... a good road trip...

My favorite airport: historic and a gateway to the wonderful people, places of Dien Bien province!

A small, but very efficient airport. Given the size, baggage deliver was within minutes.

Chờ ngày sân bay mở cửa lại để di chuyển từ Sài Gòn hay Hà Nội qua đỡ vất vả ạ. Và cũng là cách phát triển lại du lịch cho vùng đất Điện Biên.! 🥰

Sân bay nhỏ nhưng dịch vụ rất ok, thân thiện. K phải xô bồ như sân bay Hn, bay mất 45 phút thôi. Đi xe khách thi 11 tiếng

Vì cũng ít ng đi máy bay nên cảng nhỏ, vào những ngày lễ tết thì giá vé x3,x4. K đặt sớm là hết vé. Bay mất 45p nhanh hơn ô tô,11tiếng. Còn bt giá khứ hồi cũng giao động 1tr3. Bay trời nắng đẹp nhe

Sân bay nhỏ nhưng sạch và rất thân thiện. Mong sao sân bay sớm được mở rộng để đón máy bay lớn, làm nơi trung chuyển giao thông cho các vùng phụ cận.

Sân bay Điện Biên Phủ sau bao năm vẫn như vậy ko có gì thay đổi cả. Gần trung tâm, bãi đỗ xe rộng rãi, nhân viên trẻ hơn, chuyên nghiệp, niềm nở và xinh đẹp hơn!
