Muine Fishing Village

Garbage everywhere, dogs peeing on my elegant bag, violent sun hitting my poor cute head… at first, the market is not welcoming! But it’s not as touristy as I thought it would be! A real (and somehow frightening) glance into the local life.

At the fishing village, I got lobster on the beach (ready to eat) for 7 euro. Its heavenly yummy and fresh! Must eat in Muine! Its the first shop once u walk down the stair. (you can see the shop in background of the last photo).

Loved the visit to the fishing village!! Was bustling when I visited around 7/8am. Fresh seas food everywhere! Would love to go back again!

The most interesting thing here is taking the traditional bowl boat here! There are so many bowl boat in this fishing village. They take the boat to float on the sea to go fishing. We pay 150,000VND /a boat to the fisher man for 20mins to have a experience.(we know it’s really expensive so guys if you want to take it remember to bargain!)
After that we buy some seafood and have the kitchen nearby to cook it for us. Not bad Not expensive. Same thing, remember to bargain and buy the seafood which are alive.

Great place to look at the different harvest from their fishing activities. Cheap seafood that you can either bring home or cook on the spot for a small fee but make sure to survey a few place before buying as the price can really varies. Managed to get 4 lobsters for US$10!

Amazing view of hundreds of boats and ships. For a small fee, you can take a small round boat. Unforgettable views.

I really loved the sight of the colorful boats especially those which looked like a giant version of a basin. I also enjoyed watching the locals prepare the seafood they sell. Unfortunately, we weren't able to buy and eat some. However, others suggest buying some food and cooking it as it tastes really delicious.

The fishing village is quite nice with a lot of fishing boats. It is great to come here by the sunset to have a good view and taste the delicious seafood.

Looks pretty, but you will mostly spend just 5 minutes there, because it's right at the street

Interesting place to stop for a coffee with a good view and see the boats especially early in the morning. But i have to agree with the other reviews. It makes my heart ache to see all the rubbish lying around.

My driver brought me to a coffee place along the road with good vietnam coffee and where there is a great view of the sea and boats. Only 10k vnd for hot or iced white coffee.

5 star review only because it's one of the highlights in mui ne and I'm glad i came to see it.

We walked the beach and yes, there is lots of garbage, but it is an example of the daily life of a Vietnamese fisherman.
