Well. An interesting experience (not in a bad way).

The space and seating is all quite good. What was surprising was, one, there was no-one there on a Friday night; two, the food was totally different to our expectations, given the name and the internal ambience.

The food was very well plated and presented like a far more upmarket restaurant and the menu was very interesting and modern - all totally different what the name 'M Zone Bar & Grill' (and the set-up) would lead you to expect

And yet the prices were quite reasonable.

but what we didn't really experience in the menu or general ambience was a look and feel of a 'BAR & GRILL'.

and an almost totally empty restaurant didn't help.

the service was outstanding - again at a level and expertise of a much more upmarket restaurant

there is a total mismatch between the name and the furnishings and layout - and the menu, the food , and the service

(which may explain the lack of customers)

here we were at this cheapish suburban 'bar & grill' off the main road, and we got a very interesting menu and food (but strangely lacking on the grill part), impeccable service, proper ice bucket and excellent wine glasses. strangely given all that, what WAS lacking was actually any sort of WINE! like, duh. but they were happy for us to bring our own (and i think didn't even charge corkage).

Looks very new and modern. Very friendly staff and nice beer selection.
