Citadel of Mạc Dynasty

There are three hills with small park between them. From hills there are nice view of the city and mountain in a distance. Also there is like remains of old fortification walls.

The hills are not high much so you can climb them with ease and the nature is beautiful.

Is was a little bit difficult to find right entrance to place but after a moment and one detour I've founded it :)

The air is good, the food is delicious and the people are so friendly.

A nice view close from the city. There's a few places where you can go up the hills from, and the climb up isn't that difficult. When raining it can get a bit slippery. Best visited when it's sunny outside, but it was still nice when it was cloudy when I went.

This place was an awesome surprise. We went in March and the day was clear enough that we could see many of the mountains surrounding Lang Son. It's free, and we walked here, it took about 15 min from our accommodation. We got here before a bus load of tourists so we had the entire place to ourselves. There are 5 peaks to hike up (one of them is Nang Tu Thi, with the stone woman) all fairly easy. Some have stairs and some have trails you can easily follow. The place is fairly clean compared to many other places I have seen in Vietnam. But do not go too far into the bush as we did see needles in the bush when we recovered my drone. If you're an off the beaten path traveler, this place is for you. You can see the other 2 nearby caves as well, all within a 10 min walk of eachother. You can do this independently, no tours and no one will bother you here. One of the caves is around the corner, and the street leading up to it has all kinds of food stalls for drinks, food, toilets and souvenirs if you're into that. But they aren't aggressive and won't bother you like they do in highly touristic areas. Enjoy this spot!! I had no idea what it was before I came and was well worth it, we spent 2-3 hours total here exploring each peak.

The ruins aren't that interesting, but the view from the tops are astonishing. A lot of stairs, but really worth seeing.

Thành nhà Mạc

Nằm trong một con phố khuất của thành phố Lạng Sơn, thành nhà Mạc được quy hoạch lại thành khu tham quan cho khách đến thăm.

Hôm mình tới là trời mưa lạnh 8 độ C, nên khách tham quan rất vắng vẻ, chỉ có nhóm mình 3 người.

Chỉ có biển chỉ dẫn, không có người hướng dẫn. Nhóm mình tự leo lên các đỉnh để ngắm thành phố Lạng Sơn, và thăm Nàng Tô Thị!
Dường như nơi này trở thành một điểm cho người dân vào tập thể dục, lúc nhóm mình leo, có gặp một số bác cũng đang leo thể dục hàng ngày!

Là một nơi có thể đến, để được ngắm Thành phố Lạng Sơn từ trên cao!

Thành nhà Mạc ngay ở núi Tô Thị trong thành phố và gần nhiều địa điểm tham quan như chùa Tam Thanh, nàng Tô Thị.
Trong thành trồng một rừng hoa đào, gần Tết lên đây sẽ tuyệt lắm.
Mặc dù hiện chỉ còn lại nền móng nhưng vẫn đáng tới tham quan, leo núi ngắm nhìn thành phố Lạng Sơn.

Nằm trong chuỗi 5-6 ngọn núi tập trung, được chính quyền quy hoạch rất đẹp, giống như công viên để người dân có thể tập thể dục. Tôi không tìm thấy hình ảnh cổng thành cũ đâu nên chỉ chụp với bia đá. Đứng từ cụm di tích Thành nhà Mạc có thể trông thấy núi Nhị - Tam Thanh
