Diamond Westlake Suites

We stayed at Diamond Westlake Suites 3 times for a total of 14 days in November and were very satisfied. Our 2-bed 2-bath 1-living-room 1-kitchen unit was clean, spacious, comfortable, and full of amenities. Outside the ground was large, the pool was refreshing, the children playground and playroom were nice, the area was quiet, and West Lake was across the road. Breakfast was great while office staff and maintenance crew were exceptional (changing white light for yellow light, replacing safe box battery, answering questions about laundry machine and water heater, storing our suitcases while we were gone, lending us scale to weigh luggage...) I highly recommend it for lodging in Hanoi.

This is an extremely suitable place for the whole family to stay and relax.
The rooms here are spacious, airy, and not difficult to air-condition or circulate. Although the hotel's lifespan is a bit long, it is still quite new
There is a very large swimming pool here, both adults and children enjoy it very much
Furthermore, there is also a tennis court, children's play area, golf practice area, soccer field, indoor badminton and table tennis room, billiards and many other amenities.
The staff here are extremely happy, helping all customers, always smiling at customers

Staff was very welcoming. Rooms were spacious. The location was not the best though. Somewhat far away from the city centre. Overall a pleasant experience.

I couldn't pick a better place to stay. The staff is very professional and friendly, helpful and respectful. I definitely enjoyed my 5 days in this place. The buffet is great, and the cooks have the magic touch to make every meal delicious! This place has a piano and you can play it if you'd like. The room service is great too. The location and good security. Highly recommended!!!

This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at in Vietnam. The hotel overall feels like a quiet seaside vacation home, with a great environment and facilities like tennis courts, swimming pools, and great outdoor running tracks. They also serve a very generous breakfast. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the management is very well organized. I stayed here when I first arrived in Vietnam, but later moved out after finding a rented house. However, my new rental house had a strong smell, so I came back to stay at this hotel again. The front desk service staff were very friendly and arranged a nice room for me when they saw me. Thank you!

Great place and amenities little bit far from centre but trade off against pool etc. Good little shop on site plus nearby shop restaurants. Download the Grab taxi app cheap quick taxis. Staff on site lovely and helpful

Feels like you're in a residential development but with amazing facilities. The rooms were large, well kitted out and serviced. The sauna didn't seem to be switched on during our stay which was a shame.

Excellent experience - clean rooms and very helpful staff. I would definitely recommend and the prices are reasonable.

Me and my wife stay 2 nights in this feel home apartment, opening by Singapore minister, exterior & interior make u feel like condo, very comfortable, room are big, staff are friendly, breakfast are decently nice, up keep within the room feel a bit old, generally i will still give 5 star with the comfortable feel.

Come to see the outside of this place in a festival market. That is good for kids running.

I spent almost 3 years living in this resort, in multiple instances between 2009 and 2020.
It is a rare island of peace in the mess of Hanoi city.
Located on a small peninsula on Westlake, it offers some of the best views and peaceful surroundings (relatively to Hanoi standards).
As soon as you cross the gate, you are protected by the noise and crazy traffic for the city.
All services work smoothly, staff is very friendly and management attentive to the guests' needs.
There is ample gardens and public spaces indoor and outdoor, making it a unique place (especially compared to the more recently built monster-towers that are popping up everywhere in the city).
The compound is inhabited mostly by Japanese and Korean expat families (but there are many other nationalities) and caters exceptionally well for an expat family needs.
All our neighbours are friendly and respectful.
We feel safe and at ease letting our children run freely around the playground and other public spaces, giving an awesome community feeling.

Definitely my nr.1 choice every time I return to Hanoi!

My wife and I stayed there for 3days and 3nights. It's the best place to stay in Hanoi. Their service was excellent! They really took good care of us from the minute we stepped in until we left the place. The room was very clean and it's also big. Facilities like swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym was also well maintained. And finally, the view was spectacular. I wish I could give more because we were very satisfied. Thank you, Sedona team especially the receptionist!

Great place to stay especially if you have young kids. Staff are courteous, and professional. The pool is clean and inviting. Rooms are great, towels are white like new. They even have a toddler room with slides and other playground toys all air-conditioned. The hotel is situated away from old Hanoi but to us this was a good thing to get away from the crowd. We did manage to walk to town 2 times, - first time we walked to tortoise lake(3-4mi) second time to the dong xuen market(3mi). My wife is 5mth pregnant and I have 2 year old on my back in a hiking pack. We survived but the trek made us much more aware of everything around us that can present a danger and there are no shortage of it. The hotel also has a scheduled bus which will take u to town and other site seeing places at no charge.

The breakfast here is great, they have a good international variety of foods to choose from and you can order off menu.

Ps, they will gladly exchange US dollars for u at a pretty good rate. Approx 21k Dong vs market rate of 22.5k. They won't however exchange any other currencies including the euro.

Big swimming pool, large rooms, OK free breakfast. The place is 20 years old, a bit dated decor, but a great value if you want to spread out, have a mini kitchen, and a washer/dryer. 8 movie channels also. Ping pong, pool table, badminton, mini sand soccer field with goals, excellent staff, on site mini mart, all for $78 dollars plus tax. Wonderful restaurant within walking distance. Away from all the moped insanity and noise, yet a $4 cab ride into the old quarter.

My family stayed here a night in April 2016. Hotel is good and staffs are all nice. Although a little bit far from downtown but there is free shuttle buses. Recommend to stay here when visiting Hanoi.

The best place I have ever stayed in hanoi , byond my expectations. I have stayed in 7 or 8 different hotels 4 and 5 stars in Hanoi and found this accomodation a unique one with reasonable price. The apartment was spacy , tidy and classy, the breakfast was great and staff were helpful. some might think the location would be an issue as it is far from old quarter , however if you consider taking grab it would not be a big deal.

Clean and nice place to stay.. friendly staff. Lake view..city center shuttle is good. Breakfast is very good. Many vegetarian options are available.

It's such a wonderful place for family who visit Hanoi! It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen. And also nice e pool for children as well.
