Dragon Legend Cruise

We took a three days 2 night cruise on dragon legend. Mr Milkyman and Mr Smiley made our stay on cruise memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking and visiting the cave. Well worth the money. Food on board very delicious.

Had the best time on the Dragon Legend. Smiley and Kenny were great hosts who were both friendly and knowledgeable! It was definitely a highlight in our time in Vietnam.

Loved the cruise. The staff was really sweet and helpful. They made a complete vegetarian menu for just me. Its was a really nice two days..

I really enjoyed it. So relaxing time. Beautiful nature around.

Very Nice trip, on a beautiful boat. Crew members are very welcoming. Beware of the food if u stick to European food thought, local & seafood is to be expected . Recommand

We took the 3D2N cruise on the Dragon Legend #1. The ship was very well decorated and the staff was very friendly. Shoutouts to our wonderful tour guide JD. Always smiling and enthousiastic, he knew everybody by name and you felt like he treated you personally. I think we were lucky to have him as a tour guide. Also a shoutout to Peter (the best man), who was very entertaining and friendly as well.

The positive: we found this tour to be a great experience. A bit off season, there were not many passengers on the boat (28), which made this trip very comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, with the hot tub next to a big window. Activities were wonderful too. We enjoyed the kayaking (which was even better the second day, when we kayaked to a deserted beach where we could have a swim in the hot water) and the beautiful private island with the tasty bbq. The rowboat trip to the floating fishing village was fun, but the most interesting part was the oyster farm. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, we very much appreciated the Green Ha Long initiative. We love the ocean and getting such an initiative started here is certainly a challenge. Good on you!

The less positive: The cruise was quite expensive (460$ for 2), but all the cruises here are expensive, so I guess the value for money was ok. I was a bit surprised that we had to pay for all the drinks. For this price, the soft drinks could be included I think. Only water was free. The drinks were quite expensive as well. We decided not to mind the extra cost (not going too crazy though: some beers and cocktails) and ended up with a 90$ bill (only drinks) at the end of the 2 days of cruising. Also it’s not very correct to advertise this as a 3 day cruise, since the 3rd day is breakfast, check out and back to the harbor. At 11:30 we were back in the harbor.

So in conclusion: the staff was perfect, the activities were great, the food was good, but a bit expensive for a 2 day cruise.

Only issue was our room was close to the engine so our room was always warm. Seemed to be only the rooms by the engine that had this problem. Recommend asking for a room not by the engine.
