Great local convenience store with more diverse options than most!

I live on the same block and have been coming here for years... Best bodega I've ever seen. Clean, and recently remodeled, Friendly efficient staff, and more of them because they're expanding (congrats!).

Repeat great selections throughout the store. Beer has a great spread of old reliables, tons of (esp local) fancier beers, and even a cooler with wild stuff in it... *This bottle took monks 20 years to make* $15! Don't know wine well myself, but their selection looks big enough to need browsing for a few minutes. All the ordinary convenience store stuff is there of course. And then! They've got staples like I've never seen before! Trying to make bread and the yeast from 1997 is dead? They have yeast packets and jars for pete's sake... Rice, stocks, baking powder/soda, flour, selection of sugars, tuna, *capers*, tortillas and taco shells, some decent mustards... It goes on like that. This place has saved my a#$ in the middle of a recipe multiple times!

Oh dang even a case with some good Boar's Head stuff like meats and cheese, pickles, various dairy products not just a jug of milk, eggs, etc...

I could go on and on, just come here if you're anywhere in North Portland... Buy local, support families, make jobs, have a beer... 🙂

They are really great. Helpful service a fairly good selection for such a small place. I just have one thing to mention and that is that the community in Kenton needs to be sure to keep an eye on the location because there are some people in the neighborhood Who come by after hours and are smashing in their windows, throwing garbage and causing trouble. The cost of doing business is really going up for them because their insurance rates are surely going to be affected. They are also being affected by the supply chain issues that other businesses are incurring . The owner of the business is a really wonderful fellow and provides jobs to people in the neighborhood. I'm certain like other businesses in the neighborhood he is barely hanging on . He's got a good crew to include one of the previous store owners. As a community I hope we all pull together and not only frequent this location but also keep an eye out and assist as necessary. We cannot afford to lose this store.

So this is without a doubt the best convenience store I've ever lived by. Not only are the prices compatible with supermarket but many of them are actually cheaper. They have a wonderful selection of products that you would not anticipate in a convenience store. The owner and staff are so incredibly helpful and courteous and during the pandemic I can't think of a business that did so much to help everybody. I'm very fortunate to have it in my neighborhood and I would encourage everybody to give it a try.

Although this is the only convenience store in my neighborhood I can't say anything more nice about these people that work there even the owners incredibly nice I love going there it makes it so much better you got to go give them a try they're great

A superior stand-alone convenience store, with a modestly wider selection of items for sale than your usual corporate quickie-mart. Its location on the ground floor of the 1910 bank building adds a certain uniqueness. The proprietor and his employees are amiable and will chat if you go in there more than occasionally. An anchor of the Kenton downtown blocks, along with Posie's cafe and the public library. That's my list, anyway; others might have a different one. Compare that to the 7-11 on Lombard, where the employees appear in danger of offing themselves out of mere despair at working in that soulless box.

A- super welcoming folks. They're amazing.
B- they always have something that other stores don't. Tonight: Hi ball sparkling water in watermelon mint. Never tried, super excited to do so.

Seriously, they've been in the neighborhood forever, and if you need something in a jiffy, chances are they have it.

This is much more than just a neighborhood convenience store, although it does a great job at offering that kind of quick grab and buy service. From the Triple Crown, I ordered beer, wine and sodas for a holiday party. There was a wide variety to choose from — local, domestic and international —- at great prices. They can order selections that they do not have in stock too. The store loaned me ice bins for the beer and sodas. Sumeet and the staff team are great to work with.

I love triple crown and I love the owner! Great customer service every single time I go in. The owner is so amazing that if he doesn’t carry something you would buy from him, he try to start carrying it. Such a great neighborhood corner store, I recommend it to any and everyone in the area!

Super friendly corner store! This place is a neighborhood hub and the family that runs it is a delight! I visit at least one a week and enjoy catching up with the proprietor and my neighbors that I run into there. They even pay attention to items you buy most often and make sure to stock them!

My mom and my family Lived in the neighborhood about 15 years and they have been here since and before, and always had the best customer service I love this store and the family that runs it, i feel as if they are family. They always had everything amd.more you could want from a neighborhood corner store and now much more with expansion and renovations I would like to say thank u and congrats I will love to see u here for as long a possible and ur family keeps prospering as you guys are

An awesome neighborhood bodega. Great snacks, beer and a huge selection of wine. If they don't have something you want, just ask and he'll probably be able to get it for you. Love this place!
