Two Rivers Bookstore

I stopped by on my commute home and I’m so glad I did! They had popular books as well as some great reads I otherwise would not have heard about. The staff member (Brandon I think) was great to chat about books with and recommended some great reads to expand my horizons. The selection was on the slightly smaller side, but what they did have was great and seemed chosen with care. Organized and welcoming shop to find new reads!

I just love this little bookstore! Their space may be small, but their selection is *so* well-curated—I make a point to visit when I’m in the area and am always able to find something interesting. Highly recommended!

Every time we stop here, we find the perfect book for every occasion. My niece just turned 10 years old and the book we found is absolutely perfect. This store is a jewel in the hood! The picture is a book I bought in a prior visit 😉

Good reasonably priced high quality yarn selection, friendly staff, and an overall clean and well lit store.

I love this little gem! I stop by every time i am up in portland visiting my grandson. Very nice yarn collection and great staff. Always genuinely wanting to help find you your next read, gift or fiber project

I love bookstores, and independent bookstores are awesome when they have their own flair! Books! Yarn! Shrubs! (The vinegar kind) My Sauvie Shrubs subscription is picked up here...

But I also special ordered a book on my recent visit. It came in a couple days later, and I am happy to find a new indie bookstore I'll be back at often. Thanks!

Great selections of books, particularly children's books. And a really lovely selection of yarns, knitting and crochet supplies, and embroidery kits & floss. Also lots of great handmade gifts including food items - all local. This is a great community store with lots of fun and interesting merchandise

A true St. Johns neighborhood gem! This lovely, cozy, bright indie bookstore & yarn store have a fabulous selection of goodies, including great local art. If you can’t find what you want, the kind, friendly, & passionate staff will order it for you asap. And you can easily order online. SO AWESOME! Worth your time & visit!!❤

I love this local bookshop, and it’s become my go-to when buying new books. While their storefront may be on the smaller end, their in-stock books are well-curated across many genres and they have always been able to special-order me any titles in an extremely timely fashion at no additional cost. Their staff recommendations have been great, and everyone is so friendly! I am also able to buy audiobooks via Two Rivers on Libro.fm—love being able to support local and escape Amazon/Audible at an equivalent price.

What a great local book shop, they've got the books we're all reading now and a bit of everything you didn't know you needed. Love that they have a variety of local goods, vintage and knit all in one space. Had a great customer service experience. Highly recommend checking it out!

Nice selection of books and random things. The staff is fantastic. Very nice people. They were great with our dogs, one of which is very shy but they were very patient with him.

I love this bookstore (and yarn shop)! It's always arranged beautifully, with new, tantalizing books. But also, I love that if there's anything I want that isn't in stock, I can order online, support my local, independent bookstore and pick up items conveniently.

Great local shop. They bring in an excellent selection of local authors (neighborhood authors, not just Portland at large). They have contemporary books in all genres and are happy to do special orders Beyond books they share the space with a localy owned knitting shop, host fun events throughout the week, and sell a rotating selection of localy made crafts... Iron working, instruments, textiles, etc. Another great, locally owned, business for St Johns.

What a find! You buy a couple of books there and they know you by name. They’ll order anything and usually get it there in about three days. It’s my favorite place to buy local. I confess that I often shop on Amazon, but then order at Two Rivers. I love these people. Now if only I had time to knit AND read....

Seriously, one of the best places to visit in Portland. Don't miss the yarn shop Weird Sisters that shares the space. A great independent book store with great selection and a yarn store that rocks!

Really dig this place. Really helpful employees. It’s a quaint space with a pretty decent selection of books and miscellaneous knitting supplies.
