Emiliano's Market

I happened to stumble to this magical market thanks to a simple online order I made through Uber eats! I had no idea how wonderful of a market this place was until I went there to pick up my order after work. The entire layout and atmosphere here felt special, my mood changed as soon as I walked in.-the place is impressive. Everything here is Italian! I mean, EVERYTHING! They just don't sell food and pastries, they also sell Italian beers, sparking waters, coffee beans, olive oil, potteries, lotions, tooth pastes, toiletries as well! The store has wonderfully fresh, crisp chicken cutlets here, making superb sandwiches. Honestly, what won my heart was how they treated me. The customer service here was exceptional, I was a nobody, let alone, this was my first time here and they treated me with care. Franca and the staff here even called me in advance to update me that they were short of the smaller portioned sfogliatella, she gave me the larger portion at no cost! I left here feeling grateful, this place rocks!

Great pressed sandwiches. Order ahead and grab to go or sit indoors or outside in their limited seating. Nice selection of Italian groceries. Emiliano is super friendly and shows appreciation for your patronage.

The ciabatta bread is fantastic. The chicken cutlet was very fresh tasting. If you’re in the area it’s your best option

I am Italian American and I grew up on Italian food imported from Italy in Connecticut. I’ve lived here for the last 12 years and this is the first time I found in the Bronx a fantastic Italian market in Emiliano‘s. Everything here is delicious and authentic. Wonderful neighborhood gem. Prepared foods are so yummy! Great selection of imported Italian foods. Great service. Stop by! I know I'll return! But tell me... why is NYC so dirty? Litter everywhere. Don't toss it. Instead, love and take care of the City. Pick up some litter. If we all pick up one or two pieces each day we can clean up our city and make our neighborhoods more desireable!

After I placed my order Franca called to tell me the restaurant did not have pickles for my sandwich. Soon after receiving that generous gesture my delivery came on time and I enjoyed a delicious meal. I am grateful for the service I received today.

I love this place. The owners are lovely, the food is amazing, and everything is authentically Italian (which, being Italian myself, I can attest to). You must try their bomboloni. My husband is a huge fan of "the Rocco" sandwich. And now they're also serving amazing pastas and soups. Seriously, It's awesome.

The best authentic Italian market around! I come all the way from Long Island to eat here! I ordered the large hero’s for my Super Bowl party but my guests ate it too fast before I was able to take a picture! The fresh mozzarella that is made fresh everyday is the best. Also, Franca and Emiliano are such nice people!

This place is amazing! Not only is it a great place for groceries it has incredible breakfast and lunch. The soup is fantastic and the sandwiches are great.

I am so happy to have Emiliano’s Market in the neighborhood! Such a great market/cafe with a variety of imported Italian goods. The espresso is the best I have had in the neighborhood, and paired with their breakfast sandwich it’s a delight! I haven’t tried their other sandwiches, but looking forward to going back for lunch. They also make their pastries fresh, and there are so tasty! Emiliano himself is such a sweet and warm person. It was wonderful chatting with him! The overall experience was 10/10! Highly recommend!

Went here a few days ago and got a sandwich, it was of great quality and tasted very fresh. Many traditional Italian sweets and baked goods, as well as a huge variety of pastas that looked great to me. I recommend stopping here if you’re in the area or supporting the business if you live local 👍🇮🇹

My favorite local place to grab a bite to eat. Emiliano’s sandwiches are the BEST, and they have a cool selection of other Italian foods and imports too. Plus, Mr. And Mrs. Emiliano are incredibly kind and always make my boyfriend and I feel so welcome. We appreciate that they live in the neighborhood too and really care about the community.

Emiliano’s is a wonderful addition to Riverdale! It’s truly a unique gem: the sandwiches are amazing, the selection of Italian gourmet specialty products is vast, and the friendly service is top notch. A fine taste of Italy in the Bronx, that’s Amore.
