Oh my goodness! Musicians and music lovers alike will enjoy this tour. It was informative and walking through the factory to see how intricate each step in the guitar making process is was truly amazing. The $5 ticket is a fabulous price and the attached museum is interactive and filled with guitar memorabilia. Don't forget to pop into the Picking Parlor to play some of the Martin's guitars!

A long-cherished guitar pilgrimage and rite of passage! It was a privilege visiting the headquarters of C. F. Martin and Co., the manufacturers of Martin Guitars, located in the sleepy little town of Nazareth, PA. The hour-long factory tour was superb, with our guide Tyler taking us through the entire production process for these exquisitely crafted acoustic guitars, the staple choice for many of our musical heroes the world over. Other highlights were being able to visit the Martin Guitar Museum and the Martin Guitar 1833 Store. I have no words to praise the people and employees there, some of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met! The highlight of the tour for me was going into the ‘picking parlor’ and being able to strum a couple of chords on a $3200 D-28 and also being able to try some other top of the line Martin guitars. A wonderful experience if there ever was one and highly recommended if you are ever in the greater Philadelphia area!

Incredibly well done and detailed tour of the legendary guitar maker, a must-see if you are visiting the area and my third time there. The $5 ticket proceeds go to their Foundation and I'd a true bargain. Don't miss the museum and if you are a guitar lover drop into the acoustic room where you can try guitars not everyone can afford. Special thanks to Tyler for being our efficient tour guide.

A very informative tour on the history of C.F. Martin and the process of crafting their guitars. Plus a small but lovely museum with some very famous instruments on display.

Highly recommend and easy to knock out your visit in about one hour.

We walked in at 1050am and were able to join the first free tour at 11am. Our guide was friendly and the amount of stuff we got to see for free is impressive. Plus you get a keepsake at the end of the tour. The factory is noisy and has a variety of smells that may bother some due to glue and wood cutting but it is fascinating and well worth it in my opinion!

I have toured all sorts of manufacturing plants, but this experience was extraordinary! I can still smell the sweet aroma of fresh sawn lumber like no other. A business trip to the Lehigh Valley area found me in a hotel in Bethlehem when as a Martin guitar owner I wondered, “is Bethlehem maybe near Nazareth?” I extended my trip an extra day just to visit the factory that makes these legendary guitars and I will never forget it! Don’t miss it if you are anywhere in the area, and if you’re not in the area, plan a trip.

I am a little biased. I have worked at Martin Guitar for over 22 years. It is still one of the best places I have worked. We are still making the best acoustic guitars you can buy. Every day I meet new people. The faces of the poeple on the tour are my inspiration. I myself love music. I played violin for 11 years. The beauty of an instrument. The love of wood. Knowing that each guitar goes to a special individual. Either to create his own, or to enjoy others music, is just the icing on the cake. Hope to see you soon. If you are a guitar fan, you will love the tour. The museum has both historical and famous guitars. You can play most of the current line of guitars in ht picking parlor. The tour is fascinating. You walk through a working factory where the amount of hand work and skill is amazing - watch them made start to finish.

Finally got the chance to take a tour of the factory after living a few minutes away for most of my life. It was a great experience and our tour guide covered everything. I will definitely go back again next year and possibly bring along some friends or family. I high recommend it and it's a great way to get motivated to play guitar!

Well worth the experience to go see the place where some of the best guitars on earth are made. The tour is free. i would recommend getting there before 11am. The museum was really nice and the company store was ok. The tour is the highlight of the experience and I had a great time learning about all the process of making a guitar. It really makes you wish you played or had the money to afford one made in Pennsylvania. They are beautiful and made with pride.

What an amazing place to visit! If you have an opportunity to walk around the museum and take the tour, DO IT!!!! I left absolutely thrilled and excited because of the museum and the historic guitars and memorabilia they have. I was overwhelmed and will definitely be going back to go through it again. If you play the guitar, have ever played or want to play...GO!!!!!

I brought my guitar here about 6 years ago. I have a vintage Martin, made in 1971 and the bridge had become detached. I drove the guitar here from New Jersey, they were able to reattach the bridge in one day, and I have had no problems since. Phenomenal service and people. I am grateful for the quality work that they do. Thank you!

To see a Martin guitar being shaped and created before your eyes is sheer beauty. I saw a $20,000 custom guitar being made and $1000 guitar looked just as perfect on the outside. I was able to play a number of high end Martin models in the showroom, before some smart-ass picker made me feel like a beginner. Go if you can. If you own a Martin, just go. Shop at gift shop. They never have the t-shirt or size I want.

Wow! I was blown away by the most fascinating tour of Martin Guitar. Really interesting to learn how the guitars are made and the different quality of woods used.I would go back again and again.
Highly recommend this place even if you're not a muso.

I haven't been on too many factory tours, but this is how they should be. Walking around on the factory floor with a guide who was a manager at the factory. Our guide really knew his stuff and was able to answer any question we threw at him. The tour took about an hour and a half. At the end I felt like I had seen just about every aspect of guitar construction. There is also a museum with TONS of examples of martin guitars from the start of the company through contemporary instruments. While you are waiting to go on the tour there are a bunch of guitars that you can play. Everyone on the tour was given a headphones so you could hear the tour guide (since the factory can be a little loud in places).
