Strack & Van Til

We love love love to grocery shop at strack & Van til. This is a very well-organized and cleanly store they had everything we were looking for and many great deals. Whenever we are in Indiana we always stop by a strack & Van til!

Really like what they have done to this store since the remodel. I don't often shop at this location but I come here every once in a while.

Great service and people. Jeff in the meat Dept is great with helping me find what meat I need

I work here and the customer's that come to shop are family friends and or church friends

The store is very clean, is always stocked and has the friendliest employees!

I go here for the occasional lunch meat, bakery goods, especially the breads bc we don't do store bought breads anymore. And mostly the sales. The sales are always good.

The staff was polite and the store was well maintained

I have NEVER had a bad experience with the SVT in Demotte but today they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Their website/app is glitching, leading me to not be able to place my order. I have a sick one at home and cannot take the time to grocery shop currently but definitely need to restock the kitchen. The manager had me text her my entire order and is shopping it for me because it won't go through on the app/website. I have always had great experiences here but today took the cake. Thank you Demotte SVT!

Since this location has become a Strack & Van Til they have cleaned the place up LOTS!! I have been shopping here almost once a week since their grand opening. The employees have always been friendly & helpful & understanding. Definitely one of the better Stracks around.

I love that we now have a strack and van til in town! Yes, the prices are higher than other grocery stores in the immediate area, but with the price of gas now (Jul 2022), it's still cheaper to buy here than drive to the Aldi up north. Anyway, since they've changed into Stracks, they've vastly improved their selection of items, adding healthier options and improved the quality of the fruits and produce. My kids love to look at the big letters on the wall, the fish wall decor, and of course all the balloons placed throughout the store. 1 of the newer clerks is frustratingly slow so I try to avoid her when I go but overall most of the clerks are efficient. I LOVE LOVE that they always offer/sometimes don't even ask, they just do it anyway- the car service to take your groceries to your car. As a mom of 2 toddlers (3 + almost 2), this is also why I dont mind paying a little extra. It saves me so much time and energy and it's such a small gesture for them. Most of the time, they are done loading My bags in the car and I'm still just barely finished strapping the kids in the car seat. Thanks again! 😊

The worker in this photo is extremely attractive and has provided the best of services. A raise is in order for this young fellow.

They typically have whatever I am looking for. Always clean, everyone is friendly.

Awesome job by the bakery staff. Created a fabulous set of cupcakes that make up a 'scene' (or 'image') when put together.
It wasn't a stock item yet they didn't hesitate to create what we were hoping for based on a photograph.
Great job, beautiful cupcakes, ready when promised & the price was well worth paying!

We have never had a bad experience at Tysen's. The deli has something for everyone. From the homemade salads right down to the deserts. Lunch meats and cheeses. The produce is always fresh along with the meat department. Everyone is always polite and eager to help right down to taking out your groceries.

Love local businesses! Prices are just as good as anywhere else. And they have a larger selection! I have the ability to shop anywhere with travel between our two locations and that is how I came to this review. Plus it’s safe and quicker to get my shopping done!

Convenient, clean and prices that aren't to bad.

Really like the store but some items are higher priced..but they do run sale items..
Love deli an service is great..Friendly helpful staff.. An all the baggers are nice an will take groceries to your car an load for you..Or you can tell them you can yourself, what ever you like best..

I love the people who work at Tysen's. They have always been friendly and they know me well. They laugh at the deli if I spend less than 50 dollars. It's pricey on some items but it's a small store in a rural area. They have good sales. I also know what I'm getting is quality.

Always had what I need and the store was clean!

I shop here often since it's close to home. It's a little more pricey and they don't carry a few things I like to buy but the customer service is always outstanding. They do have great sales too. Especially on meat. This is my go to place for when I need to grab something during the week.
