The bagels here were incredible. It took a while to get the food but once we got them, they were phenomenal. The bacon was fresh, the bagels were fluffy, and the egg was runny. The lox bagel was also very welll made. Highly recommend this place.

We accidentally stumbled upon this wonderful delicatessen shop, bakery and deli in Bryan, TX. The smoked salmon bagel sandwiches were extremely generous and delicious. We had a choice of twelve types of freshly baked bagels. We also ordered possibly the best BLT we have ever had! Customer service was phenomenal and we were given freshly baked sweets samplers. Finally we purchased black semolina Italian pasta from their dried goods section cannot wait to try it at home. Great sandwich shop!

Atmosphere:
Prior to entering, it looks like any other establishment located in the downtown Bryan, but once you step foot inside, it almost resembles a bagel shop from NYC. There is small section for dining in, as well as a refrigerator with a vast amount of beverage choices that range from local/out-of-state/commercial drinks. Making your way towards the back you will see the robust selection of bagels for your choosing and to your left a grill with a selection of various cheeses/spreads/meats. One item that I appreciated is the inclusion of other local business items that could be found for sale.

Service:
Depending on when you go, your service will vary. I went on a Sunday with their new hours and there was a long line for both picking out food and paying. Mind you, I did go about 2 hours before closing. The line did move quickly and when it was time to order, I had to go for the highly rated Pastrami sandwich. I would say it took roughly 20 minutes to get it, but it was worth the wait. The person who assisted me in taking my order, was also the cashier, which made me realize as to why there were both long lines, but overall apologetic and nice to every customer.

Quality:
My order consisted of ordering a Pastrami sandwich on rye with both dressings (Russian and Mustard) on the side and Swiss cheese, coupled with Honey BBQ chips and Blueberry Lemonade Soda from Seattle. The flavor was so good, but I know now that I made the mistake by having the dressing on the side. The sandwich was so good and had a resemblance of a famous pastrami spot i went to in NYC, KATZ. The portions pretty good and could definitely be shared with someone, if you choose to be so kind. There were other items on the menu I wanted to try out, but those would be saved for a later day.
Got any recommendations Zeitman's???

Fili's Fav:
Although the bagels and Pastrami sandwich would be the main reason to go here, do yourself a favor and try the banana bread, you will NOT regret it.

First visit – easily one of the best BLTs I've ever had. Staff was super friendly. I also appreciated the fact that one of their soda options was made by a local company (Boots Beverages). Will definitely go there again next time I'm in the area.

Fresh Potato Latkes! I can't stop eating them! Holiday gift worthy breads. Samples presented with a smile! The bagels are so beautiful! The hard salami is amazing! Good prices all around. Thank you for opening in downtown Bryan!

Really cool, old building. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and my wife had the BLT. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, however it does get pretty crammed in there when it’s crowded. We will definitely be back.

I am so glad I stopped into Zeitman‘s grocery store. It opened in November and this was the first chance I’ve had to pop in. The shelves are actively being stocked with local artisan foods. But do not overlook the bakery! Absolutely delicious sourdough bread, totally legit bagels and this bread loaf called “the daily bread“ (also available by the slice). It is so flavorful, delicious and totally something to brag about. If you don’t eat bread, buy a loaf and gift it to someone else. The recipient will be most grateful. Welcome to downtown Blake, Dean and the entire Zeitman’s grocery store staff.

Probably my favorite sandwich spot in a fifty mile radius, I love every sandwich I’ve ever had from here including the “trust me” option which as far as I can tell is just whatever they’ve got going on that day. Legit deli, can’t recommend enough. Yesterday I waited a little longer than normal (still a pretty reasonable wait time) and the guy making my sandwich doubled up on the meat and cheese. What a nice guy!

Before Zeitman's opened in town, my life was a sad grey cloud without access to REAL BAGELS. Bagels with the right amount of chewiness and toughness and flavor.

And then Zeitman's came along, conveniently in downtown Bryan, and changed the game. Not only do they serve fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches, but they live up to Texan sizes with some of their sandos. If you follow them on Instagram, they also update with weekly or monthly specials as they try new (and sometimes crazy!) sando concoctions.

Their grocery has also introduced me to some great chip flavors and local caterers such as Gumbeaux - I really enjoyed their frozen etouffee. The sweets and sauces look great, and I'm excited to see this place grow and get the attention it deserves.

My job took me to the historic downtown Bryan area on Main Street. I stumbled upon this Deli by accident, and soon learned it was veteran owned *Semper Fi*, and everyone inside was friendly. The menu looked fantastic, so I ordered the locally sourced fresh roasted beef and cheddar sandwich along with a specialty East Coast soda from their vast selection of beverages. The sandwich was so good I spent my entire lunch break savoring every bite. Two days later I'm back to try their Philly cheesesteak. And I must say it is five stars out of five. I also tried one of their fresh made onion Bagels that was swimming with flavor! The place says "Zeitman's Grocery Store" on the front glass as an homage to the owner's family who owned a grocery business since the early 20th century. Next time I'm going to try some of their cold cuts. The place was full of excited customers and I see this restaurant fast becoming an icon in the Bryan College Station area.

Met the owner Blake a few months ago while camping. He didn't even really tell me about this place; His friends did. Obviously I had to check it out. I visited not too long ago when I was in town and I was throughly impressed. Everything was great. Loxs of love was fantastic. The homemade spreads were great. Bagels tasted amazing. Everyone working there was super friendly. My only critique (tongue in cheek) is there isn't one in Austin. I'll definitely be back everytime I'm in Bryan. Zeitman's is 100% worth checking out.

DELICIOUS. I have spent my fair share of time in Jewish deli settings being from the east coast, and this one is phenomenal. I got the pastrami NY deli style - all the way. Everything about it was wonderful: the pastrami was perfectly cooked, the sauerkraut was great and the mustard, cheese and bread pulled it all together. Definitely worth the price of the large to have some extra for leftovers. Get there early because when we showed up at 4:30, they were out of corn beef and only had enough pastrami for one large sandwich. My husband got the lox everything bagel. Neither of us like salmon but we opted to try it because If you don’t like it here, you probably won’t like it anywhere. He took a bite before I could take a picture and I had to fight him off to get the picture I did. It was so so good. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great new breakfast or lunch spot in downtown Bryan. Loved the cheese steak. For a gal, it will last you two meals. Salmon lox bagel is apparently quite good as well if that’s your thing. Tried the samples of cinnamon roll and cranberry walnut bread… dangerously tasty!

Definitely worth a visit here 😊

Okay, I’m from Jersey and the pork roll, egg and cheese delivered.. I got it on an onion bagel, and the way they slice and layer the pork roll razor thin made the sandwich. I don’t usually like my eggs sunny side up/with yolk but this sandwich was BANGIN.. def glad I found this place after moving here from Jers. My one request is to please also make some sweet bagels options like cinnamon raisin! Also their baked goods, challah, banana bread, cookies are delectable. Hits the spot. My husband ordered a corned beef which was on the smaller side and he wished he had gotten a PEC.. looking forward to another.

Absolutely should try the Italian Grinder. If you're a fan of east coast bagels 🥯 this is your spot. Lox is on point!!

I highly recommend the Philly cheese steak, and the pizza.

Affordable/reasonable prices for truly good food! Staff is super friendly, and this is locally owned and operated. Go out and support local, family owned, good quality folks in downtown Bryan!!!

Zeitman's Grocery Store served fresh-made bagels with several cream cheese “schmear” options. This was a messy AND amazing bagel smear. We were staying at nearby Stella hotel for a long weekend getaway. While it may be a tiny grocery in the old downtown it seemed to primarily serve great bagels and sandwiches. Only a few tables in there. Friendly service at the counter and a great way to start the day.
