Carter & Sons Produce, Meat Market and Cafe

Great lunch today!! Fried chicken butter beans and Mac and cheese and crackling cornbread. Cornbread coulda had a few more cracklings but everything had great seasoning and taste!! Wait staff was very attentive!! Whole cakes looked delicious!!

My mom and I met the owner very nice man, food was absolutely delicious produce is is at a great price. I will definitely be back.

A good selection of meats and a fair selection of produce. The prices were lower than what you see in the grocery store. The cafe was closed when we were there but we did get some of the free ice cream. If you live in Valdosta it’s worth the short drive out 41 to check it out.

Friendly staff, great selection. I love how their products are as locally sourced as possible and it’s better quality than you will find at Walmart or big box stores. Zero nicks on the squash and zucchini, Georgia grown peaches, and if you are hungry during the lunch hour grab a bite at the cafe next door. Oh I almost forgot I love that they have a little sink with soap and paper towels to wash your hands if you get meat blood on them from getting your meats. Climate controlled environment also makes shopping such a pleasure. Go check them out!

Would be great if the Cafe were open on Saturday. So many yummy things all fresh from the garden and cooked perfectly, paired with a juicy, crunchy pork chop or piece of fried chicken….perfect for Saturday lunch. ❤

Great location for fresh produce and meats.

This is a very clean establishment. The staff is courteous, polite, and professional dealing with the public. The meats were displayed in proper lighting so as to enhance the color and texture. There was yellow colored watermelon found with a fairly decent price. Will return soon.

Yummy home cooked food. Yea is fresh and banana pudding is a must have!

They were so amazing! We called needing our house pressure washed in a hurry because of our short notice move and they came same day. Super fast and efficient and they were able to get that red Georgia clay off of our house. Cant beat pricing and amazing service!

I go here for my meat package shopping. Prices are fair. Staff is friendly and helpful. Family feeling environment. The cafe serves down home cooking that will leave you full and wanting more. They sell cakes too. Delish cakes.

This is definitely the place to go if you want good meat and veggies. I had been buying meat in other places only to be disappointed. I decided to try Carter’s and I was very happy in the quality and flavor of my purchases. This is most definitely where I am going to be shopping from now on.

This is a great place to get fresh produce. They also have a good selection of frozen seafood and other items. You can also find local honey as well as pecan and olive oil and nuts.

Best meat and 3 in town!!!

A great place to go for fresh fruit, vegetables, fresh meats, custom cuts of steak and pork and several varieties of freshly made country sausage. They also have several kinds of honey and pepper sauces along with other country goodies that you can only find at a farmer's market. There's also a restaurant that's always packed for lunch because the food is well prepared and got that down home southern flavor, they also have takeout. If you haven't been yet you should check it out I highly recommend this place..

The best place for local meat, with no hormones. Our chicken is always fresh, and tastes delicious. They are knowledgeable about their fruit, vegetables and meats, and gladly tell you what they know. I leave knowing I'm providing fresh goodness for my family.

I love this market! They have great produce and great prices. The staff are all professional and friendly. They greet you with a smile and ask if you need help finding anything. It has that warm, down home country feel. They are the very definition of southern hospitality and charm. If you ever visit Valdosta, Carter & Sons Produce is an absolute must see!

Just ate a great home cooked meal. The food was delicious and the server couldn't have been better. If you are looking for a good place to eat down home cooking you can't do better than this. The prices are very affordable too.

They have fresh vegetables every week we like to go there and pick them up once or twice a month good little store

The Cafe wasn't open but we talked to one of the waitresses and she was wonderful! We'll be back when the restaurant is open!!
