Best bait store in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They are real friendly and helpful. Only bait shop I use in Florida.

Went there at least six times to get minnows and shiners. They have a great selection of baits/lures. Customer service depends on who you talk to and their mood. Sometimes they're awesome and will share useful tidbits of information, other times they look at you like you're a nuisance trying to spend money there.

I needed worms for fishing they have a great assortment of bait and tackle it was my first time there very friendly staff I Highly recommend this place

I was trying to catch a peacock bass and I was getting skunked. Every bait shop I stopped at and talked to I was told that these fish are so aggressive that they will bite anything. Well that is obviously not true because I was not getting a single bite all day and I finally went to these guys. When I told them what everybody had told me they laughed and said that was absolutely not true. They recommended a lure that would work and had a great deal on an aerator bucket with live shiners. I bought this and immediately caught peacock bass for the first time in my life! These guys appear to be the only bait shop in the city that know what they're talking about! 10 Stars!

Today I went in to have a look. I told them I was having a rough time with Peacock Bass, they recommended some lures and told me how to retrieve them. I went home and tried them, and on my first cast I catch a Peacock Bass. Will definitely come back.

I always go by and grab my shiners here to go pea fishing when in South Florida. It's a nice little store tucked into a strip mall on the way out to the glades.

As a saltwater Inshore charter captain I spoke to several guides that use BJs and they all spoke very highly of it. Staff is friendly. Very nice selection of tackle in a small space. It's obvious the store has good gear for the type of fishing in the area.

They also have frozen salt water bait if you are headed that way!

Great store and the guys in here are pretty knowledgeable. They only had small shiners both days I went in around 7am, but they were perfect and made for a fun day on the water with my buddies! I'll definitely be returning here next time i'm in town.

I get all my bait from BJs, their shiners always last a long time and bring plenty of bites!

They open at 6am which was perfect for a recent trip. The shiners live longer then other bait and tackle shops..

So helpful and friendly, literally my first time walking into a beach shop. These guys are top notch and so convenient on your way out to the Everglades.

Best bait shop around the area. These guys took time out of there day to not only guide me a little on how to catch peacocks in the local area but also are great people.

Went to shop today for bait and some tips…. Outta towner my son and I. Randy was pleasant, helpful and personable. His tips were excellent! We caught 11 peacocks and some other fish today and if we fish again we’ll go back there for tackle .
