Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Always a helpful smile at the drive up pharmacy!! Staff are always nice and knowledgeable. You can really tell when someone loves their job and customers. 5 Stars!

I want to share with you the beautiful experience I witnessed in customer service yesterday. The gal who is always working was extremely busy with a huge line and phones ringing non stop. There was a gentleman at the counter doing several transactions paying on line and getting money orders, he looked like he was suffering a medical condition. The gal was friendly, answering the phones, and working fast and efficiently. She noticed the man was not doing so well and got him a chair and assured him he was ok, and no bother to her and to rest while she finished his transactions. She continued to check on him as he started to look worse. She was calm and discreetly offered him water and to call someone which he declined. She finished his transactions and again asked him if she could call someone or help him in anyway. She let this man keep his dignity and remained calm. Eventually the man went on his way. I want you to know she was extremely busy and went out of her way to make sure he was okay and didn't cause a huge scene to embarrass him. You don't get this kind of service anywhere these days and this made my heart smile. This is not customer service you would get anywhere else and that gal should be recognized for this beautiful thing she did. This is why I shop at Hy-Vee.

HyVee has the widest variety of options and the freshest produce in town. I am always able to find what I am looking for.

Smaller store but had all the staples i needed. Self checkout available. Friendly employees. Decent prices.

They always have the dairy-free and gluten-free food options I need while in town.

Best hy vee in the city. Much cleaner inside and out than Hamilton or Gordon.

Nate the wine and spirits manager is incredibly helpful to all customers no matter the circumstances. He is always understanding and just a great employee, let alone an amazing human. You are sooooo lucky to have him on your team!!!!

Nice clean store. There's an employee called Brady who helped us by going out of his way to find the coconut water.

Clean, plenty of well stocked shelves, plenty of fresh produce, plenty of staff to assist you if you need them, very clean environment, great specials, good food, delicious fresh baked bakery treats, check out is quick, and you can buy postage stamps and mail your mail, PLUS, get a cup of fresh delicious Starbuck coffee on your way out!

Their mobile order is really good. Always have a great selection and they do their best at accommodations

I like Hy-Vee. A Midwest business started in Des Moines that has an organic section and is starting to give healthier options with less preservatives in our food.

I've camped here for the last 4 years this is my 5th. I can't say enough about the Larson's landing. We have met some of the greatest people here. The roads are paved and the camp grounds are clean plus well maintained.

Always love going to Hy-Vee as they have what you need and always fresh , I have missed coming here while I had moved away, where I was seriously made me miss the fresh meat and unexpired meats, the choice for a store I got stuck with, I couldn't get meats at all as I don't even comprehend how it existed, it's amazing what you find when you leave a good area, I was so thankful for the farmer's and butcher shops out there but so glad I got my Hy-Vee back as besides freshness the prices are still decent for what you're looking for!

I've always enjoyed Hyvee even if you can't find a helpful smile in every isle. I love the fact that I can order groceries online and have them delivered to my home. Other than one time the delivery person has always been very nice, but hey, it was over a 100 degrees that day. It's hard to happy in that kind of heat.
