This place has EVERYTHING you could ask for from board games to paints to miniatures to candles and dice! Tables to play at and a really well-informed team who can help you feel out exactly what you are trying to do or look for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got 2 board games that I've been searching for for years, and they had it and were super passionate about their collection!

There are games stores you buy from and game stores you play at. This is both. Mike and his staff make you feel right at home. The shop is jampacked with quality games, great people and ample parking. Highly recommend spending too much time here!

Love the place, Mike, and all the guys are great and super helpful. A great LGS and one I go to on a regular basis to play 40k.

Mike is so cool! I met Mike and Lost Planet at a convention and they were absolutely incredible! Could not recommend this store enough! If you're looking for a great group of people and game store, go here!

Mike and Curtis are super cool. They have a bathroom here which is solid. The magic tapestry/banners were really nice to see. The main TCG of this store is magic but they do carry Pokemon and One Piece. At the time I visited they were out of one piece. So call ahead for anything and Mike or Curtis would be able to give you a good response. I think what really makes this store stand out is definitely a good community feel where we saw people sitting down at tables painting and people at the tables playing game sessions. Mike was who we mainly spoke with and he seems like a really great guy. He answered our questions respectfully and energetically. It was very inviting and I would love to come back for when they're restocked on one piece or to hangout and play.

My job takes me all over south Cali and I've visited so many stores. Found Lost Planet and haven't gone to any other place. It's my go to for boardgames, miniatures, MTG and paints. I drive 20-30 min like 3-5 times a week just to hang out and play games with everyone. Super helpful staff and the community is amazing. I'm always gonna recommend this place to everyone. Lots of events throughout the week too. So if you're looking for something I'm pretty sure you'll find it here!

This is perhaps the best gaming store I’ve been to in both Northern and Southern California. Great decorations, great owner who was super friendly and gave me awesome advice walking me through what I needed to get.

As someone who has done wargaming and trading card gaming for about a decade, I can, without a doubt recommend this place

I came here last night to scope out items for my DND campaign and was very pleased by my experience here. The staff is super friendly, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and just overall made my visit feel super laid back. I ended up leaving with some cool terrain, paint, and grass for my figures. They have a pretty wide selection of products and I spent a good 5-10 minutes just looking thru all the cool stuff. I 10/10 recommend this place for all your tabletop/hobby needs and I will most definitely be coming back.

Best miniature model shop I’ve ever been to. This place is an absolute gem and it’s worth driving from Long Beach for. They have an incredibly organized wide range of miniatures, games and everything you would need for painting minis, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Also tables for people to play games on and a really cool community vibe. Shop here to keep wonderful stores like this in business. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

My friends, girlfriend, and I are all new Magic players. The guys at this shop managed to make us feel less like idiots and more like a part of a cool community. Can’t remember his name but the dude with the long hair is a walking MTG encyclopedia as far as I can tell and we can’t wait to come back each week to learn and buy more cards!

Amazing customer service. We are new to D&D and the owner took his time to explain everything to us and he even looked for information so that we can make a better decision on what we would purchase. They have an amazing variety of stuff, it is very organized and clean. Prices are really good.

Had a great experience visiting this shop! Explained to the people there that I was new to D&D and recently had my first session but wanted to spice it up. Got recommendations for a terrain set and battle mats which were more than amazing (had a small problem with the large miniature in the terrain set but brought it back the next day and they fixed it up for free!) and also picked up a dice tower. Lots of variety in what they offer and fairly priced!

Overall extremely happy with my purchases and I'm already planning to pick up more stuff in the future!

This shop is amazing! A deep selection for a variety of games, a great group of regulars that play almost everything under the sun, and a wonderful staff that is deeply passionate about gaming and community.

I make it a point to visit this shop anytime I'm in the area, and highly encourage anyone in LA who loves gaming to do so as well.

I never leave reviews...ever, but my experience at Lost Planet was so fantastic. Wow, did this store have every type of supply related to miniature wargaming, I was blown away. The staff were all very friendly and eager to help. This place just became my new local gaming store.

The owner is so friendly and cool. I guess I always enter looking lost but he is always ready to greet, chat, and offer any help every time. I don't go go here often since I'm in the OC area but whenever in Torrance I always have to drop by to check it out.

Since the owner of The War House passed away and they've closed, this is one of my semi local game stores. Amazing amount of product with lots of miniature paint, tools and supplies.

A bit off the beaten path (for me) but always worth the trip as the owner is helpful and makes sure you gets the product you need (he told me i didn't need certain components to a game because they were included in the base game).

Check out the squirrel feeding area.

Absolutely great place, beyond fantastic. Some of the nicest people I've met in the gaming hobby in twenty years there, and just a perfect friendly hang out spot. My number 1 recommendation for a gaming store in Southern California.

It's always great to stop by the Planet to pick up the latest drop, preorder new items, or play games with everyone there. Laid back atmosphere, and head honcho Mike is always happy to help with any questions.

I stopped in during a trip from Phoenix, this store is well stocked with miniature game supplies, board games, and paints. I was able to find a few items I haven't able to get a hold of in my stomping grounds.

The owner Mike was very amicable and informative. If I were from the area, this would be a go to spot for sure; I highly recommend a visit.
