Safeway

Great staff and good store but the corporate team needs to re order the small mini carts. Why are they all gone? I know I've seen alot of bums taking them. I personally hate these big clunky carts they have currently and they always run out of them when it's busy. If you do the basic math also you can see where every 1 big cart could be 2 of the mini carts they wouldn't run out do fast with that amount doubling. Please bring the mini carts back. ✌

I love Safeway for the ability to get all my grocery needs and prescriptions. The is the main place I stop before I head home to get any food needs. My daughter loves their chicken, and jojo deal at the deli, so we negotiate. If she does all her chores for the week = Safeway chicken and jojos :)

Love the attempt they did at the gremlins cake they made for my nephews 5th birthday. After the crying stopped turned out to be a pretty good cake!

Very clean and well stocked Safeway. Good location as you’re driving through as well.

I want to let everyone know that the floral department is outstanding at this location. Beautiful variety and a highly skilled and talented lady named Lori made my baby shower arrangements, and it was one of the highlights of the event. I came in and explained what was needed, and she went above and beyond in every way! Beyond that, this store carries a lot of high-quality products and is easy to navigate. Friendly and helpful employees. They recently installed a U-Scan, and it's helped tremendously when you only have a few items. Always clean and welcoming when you walk in. The only downside is the parking lot, which can get very busy, so caution is needed.

The highlight was the clerk who was on her phone texting on an isle we were shopping and then later was leaning on the check-out saying, "Uh, wasn't _____ only supposed to be on a 15-minute break?"
The lady who cashed us out wad gold! Lovely, swift, kind, helpful.

The store was clean. Saw no cart wipes... The cart was smooth, the store was stocked and well-organized. Saw no date issues and we found all we needed. I must say, however, that I smelled fish/seafood the moment I walked in and it was extremely pungent at the back...

I am new here and look forward to shopping here...

The workers by the self checkout area are always helpful and I appreciate them for dealing with any complications I’ve gotten when shopping. Thanks Andrew and everyone else🤝🏼

Very nice store that is away from all the busy places. Randomly went inside to buy a Discover Pass, a kind and helpful young woman went above and beyond to help me. Thank you Kyle, if that is your name on the receipt. Very helpful worker, answered my silly tourist questions, and was most thoughtful.

Online ordering does need a checkbox to NOT substitute a different flavor if they are out of the one you ordered...

My favorites are Jen & and Andrew, but every single employee at Monroe Safeway goes waay above and beyond! I don't have a whole lot of money for food, but I pay attention to ads. I love my Safeway ♥

Visited the Pharmacy. Staff very friendly and hard-working (one person servicing both counters) and a friendly pharmacist (Yaw). My months old online reservation didn't make it to the store but they had enough for me. Probably best to call and reconfirm otherwise.

Usually don't have much of a problem with incorrect pricing or digital coupons at this safeway location. If there's a old tag price they are quick to correct it and make amends on the price paid. Usually stocked well, free items can be found with digital coupons, staff are quick to help or direct where to go. This store has come a long way over the last ten years and is now one of the best run safeways around, and I'm a consumer price advocate. Good work.

I love that all Safeway's look the same. No matter where I go, I know where the bread is.

There is free 2 hour Volta EV charging in the parking lot

Purchased nectarines that were rotted inside day after purchase. The customer service rep was very apologetic and offered to replace them. My husband took them back to the store & they were replaced. Safeway has always had excellent customer service consistently in my 40+ years of shopping from California to Washington. Thank you!

This store has the best meat selection of any other grocery store in town. This store has amazing, attentive staff who will go above and beyond to honor prices, promotions or substitute with similar products. Overall an awesome place to shop, and their drive up and go service is worth trying if you are busy or want to beat the lines. This is by far one of the few grocery stores that actually care about retaining customers, if you ever have a problem, management will go above and beyond to make the situation right.

Arrived 15 minutes before closing to get coffee and ended up doing a little shopping. And got to the check stand about 5 minutes later than they wanted. And was still greeted with a smile and not made to feel bad at, all. Was so nice not going over board. But nice like they lady checker still had another 2 his before closing. Super nice!!

Great store to stop at. They have good veggies and meats. Their bakery items are some of my most favorite store made pastries/desserts from anywhere.
I do recommend getting a Safeway card as you really do save A LOT.

Safeway is a national grocery store chain that has tons of coupons and deals going on at all times. This location is always busy for some reason so be prepared to wait in lines, even through self checkout. Parking is good outside and the bathrooms inside are clean. The employees here are very nice, and their food counter is usually pretty stocked. This is one of the main stops for people going into the mountains so they are well stocked on many easy to cook things.

I absolutely adore Suzanne, a cashier there. She is always so friendly and makes good conversation so im not standing there awkwardly. She also is always very gentle with my produce, which is always appreciated.
