A++ for friendliest staff and international variety of customers, staff, and produce. Also by far the cheapest store around. Excellent produce, excellent selection of organic fruit and veg, excellent selection of Goya products. Excellent seafood and meats. 3 potential downsides: 1) their goods are not always laid out clearly so you often have to ask where something is and they are always changing locations of everything 2) they’re not great on sourcing animal-friendly meats so be aware of that if it matters to you 3)They are often out of stock on things like my favourite yogurts. However for me this is all stuff i can live with and I love the store.

We shopped on Christmas Eve and the place was a madhouse! Not a spot in the parking lot, not a shopping cart in sight bc they were all being used. But, I can honestly say that it was a pleasant experience! One of the best I’ve had in a long time in a grocery store. The staff was friendly and the line to check out, while long, moved along at a good clip. Everyone was in the Christmas spirit! Thanks, Market Basket!

I love market basket. They always have the food items I want, they have the best produce section, and they always have staffed checkout counters! The staff there are always helpful and friendly and it's excellent service.

First of all, I do not understand why the store has a 4.4 rating when it should be a five star rating. My wife and I moved into Ashland back in October 2023 and we heard a lot of good things about the store from different people, so we decided to check it out. Now my wife and I went to the Bellingham store and we didn’t like it too much because the crew was very unfriendly. Well we came to Ashland and we fell in love with the store. I’m a strong believer in the manager, set the tone For whatever business they are managing. Well meeting Mike who is the manager at Market Basket is fantastic. He has is very awesome. As Billy Crystal said back in the 80s, and he is simply marvelous. He is also a very friendly guy. He has an awesome crew. They’re all very friendly they go out of their way to help you out whenever they can. I am a US Army veteran who did 20 years and I’m retired. I also have PTSD from serving in the Middle East. I don’t regret what I did do or do I regret having PTSD it goes with the territory, but what I like about this whole store is the friendliness that we receive when we walk into the store together go shopping there is not one person in the head that we don’t dislike and also every time I see Mike I say hello to him and he won’t say all right back to me. It doesn’t make a difference how busy he is he’s always saying hello Plus I see how he interacts with all his workers. He’s very friendly to his people not only that, but he’s also extremely friendly with all his customers. But I also like about it is the food is reasonably priced we always go in and get good deals. I even like it better than Trader Joe’s and so does my wife. I’ve had people in that store say thank you for serving and that means a lot also even some of the customers that go in there early in the morning, I told one of them one day I have PTSD and they gave me my space that I needed. are used to hear stories that the store was always dirty. Well that’s not true. It’s a very clean store also with Joe Biden and the Democrats causing all our prices to go up. I think Market Basket does a good deal and taking care of me in the needs of its customers and keeping the prices at a reasonable price! My wife and I truly love the store. We going first thing in the morning and we love it. I highly recommend the store to anyone else looking and if you don’t like crabs like I don’t think of first thing in the morning all my friends tell me it’s a great store, and I can see that they are much better than Trader Joe’s also much better than Stop & Shop. Much better than Shaws and they’re not stuck up and snooty like Trader Joe’s Shaws and also Stop & Shop and also they are very veteran friendly, so why not go there at least we know we’re gonna get good food for a good price and we’re gonna be treated with respect when it doesn’t go there’s a fool not to try them out.

They were fully stocked. With very few people in the store at 7:00 am. Great experience. Great associates and great prices.

Best deals around, be selective on produce and meats but other than that you can fill your shopping cart for under $200.

Atleast 1/3rd cheaper than Stop & Shop

It was a great place to shop they had everything you could imagine all accept for handicapped motor scooters for the handicapped all but one & it needed charging to bad people don't think of the handicapped who are capable of shopping.

The foods are fresh, the cashiers are friendly,
All the foods are visible and the facilities are clean.
Of course all the prices are the BEST👍👍👍
And there’s a very nice and friendly guy name is Edwin who wears an eyeglass at Seafood Department , he is very very polite, friendly and nice to everyone, even my 5 years old granddaughter likes him too😁
Also the toys dispensers’ prices are Really reasonable compare to other supermarket 👍👍👍

They say that 1 out of like 11 people are sociopaths. But not when they're at Ashland MB. Because it's an excellent supermarket

My favorite place to shop. Great prices compared to other local markets. Also they do not put people out of work by installing self check out machines. I try not to go to Stop and Shop, although it is close to my house, because they do put people out of work .

Great Market Basket store. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the employees handled the crowd very efficiently. I love the MB wide variety of fresh produce and affordable prices. Highly recommend this location!

Glad to see Market Basket in Ashland is carrying Pillars Greek yogurt drink. Pre-and probiotics, live cultures, 18 g of protein and only 5 g of sugar. Plus they’re running on sale two for four dollars. Phenomenal price. This is a quick on the go breakfast drink for my 12-year-old boys on our way to school. Good stuff

Love this place! They keep it clean. Employees are nothing but professional. The prices have always been the lowest of all the large grocery stores in the area.

I've been buying my own groceries since I was 17 years ; I'm 40 now. Today was the first time I had to ask to speak to a manager in any store .
At first I couldn't believe a 18 year kid ( Daryl ) was a shift manager . He is incredibly mature for his age , extremely professional , all around great guy , emotional intelligence like no other and beyond all else took care of my "situation" like he's been on the job for decades .
Market Basket should be proud of having such a talented young man .
Daryl , you ever read this , keep it up kid . You'll be a CEO of a company one day.
