This location is horrible 15-20 mins wait times in drive thru. I feel bad because the workers are always scrambling they definitely don’t give them proper staffing! I just picked up my prescription and the girl running the counter was all alone and had to take care of the store, the drive thru window, and the phone that was running off the hook! Hope all these negative reviews get the attention of Walgreens corporate. If you can’t schedule the correct amount of workers then don’t open a retail location and just mail everyone this prescriptions! Unacceptable for workers and customers. Lost a Walgreens customer for life

I’m sure Walgreens could care less about customer reviews but I’ll share my experience anyway in hopes it will steer someone to a different pharmacy.
Tried drive up window 3 times today without success!
First two times waited 18, then 15 minutes without car in front of me moving. And driver in front of me started banging on window and screaming at someone there.?
Third time drove up to drive up window with a sign saying closed??
But website states drive up hours open until 6pm but it’s not even 4 ???

So I drive to the front of store on go in and head to the back of the store and not to my surprise but 9 people are waiting in line??
And this was a refill that called in 2 days ago and this is the norm at Walgreens @ Pleasant st Methuen
Transfer your prescriptions to a real Pharmacy! I am.

When this was a Rite Aid, we loved it. As people who have recurring needs, Rite Aid provided us with amazing service. Ever since it changed to Walgreens, this place has been awful. Their hours are terrible, the amount of staff they have on site is terrible, and the overall cleanliness of the business is abysmal. Walgreens should be ashamed of themselves.

I wish this location never switched from Rite Aide to Walgreens. It's honestly such a shame. Called over 4 times today and have not been able to speak to anyone. No one picks up the phone and if they do, they tell you to hold and hang up on you. Will be looking for different places to go.

had my covid test scheduled. went on time and found the pharmacy drive thru window was closed. went inside to ask they said the person who had to do the test is not available. made me and my husband wait for over 40 mins, saying we are setting things up and getting computer ready. still nothing. we had to leave, very disappointing. Y schedule a test when u dont have resources and waste a working person's time on monday, and not even have courtsey to send a email out that the appointment is cancelled for some reason.

Pharmacy tech working 10/19 around 6pm is the rudest lady i have ever encountered. She has no right working with general public. Stay in the back

I wish I could give zero stars! I absolutely loved this pharmacy when it was Rite Aid. They treated customers with respect and compassion and they were very personable and helpful. It is impossible to get someone on the phone at this Walgreens, the customer service inside and at the drive thru is so awful and if you ask questions you feel like you’re bothering them. At first when they made the change I thought they just needed time to work out all the changes but it has not gotten better and only got worse, I will be switching pharmacies and I know I am not alone with these issues. I have no idea how they get away with running a store this way. 😢 😡

This is a billion dollar company, the bigger they are the more arrogant and the less service they provide. The staff including pharmacists are Blatant liars and incompetent, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. On many occasions I have been told my prescription will be ready the next day, I would call the next day to check on it, they say not ready we'll have it tomorrow, and the same old song goes on n on. Many times they claim they ran out of the meds, how could a billion dollar company run out of a common medication ? Walgreens get your act together.
Things went downhill after they bought out Rite Aid. All the smart employees are gone. accept the store manager, she is so incompetent, walgreens has her on a tight leash. Everyone is complaining about the lousy service at this Walgreens.

I have used this pharmacy for about 4 years for monthly prescription fills. It was great when it was rite aid. They were easy to get ahold of, responsive, helpful, and the customer service altogether was excellent. Since the change to Walgreens it has absolutely been a different experience.
I had a med change recently that needed a prior authorization. Once my provider confirmed it was accepted by my insurance I called the pharmacy to confirm they received the PA to which they hasn’t and had me read off my ins id number , and said they didn’t have it.
I knew at this point if my provider got approval then pharmacy should too so I called insurance company. They spoke to pharmacy and then relayed to me that they did not have my insurance Id number (I had a recent change which is why I called pharmacy to confirm the info) and the insurance agent provided the info and the pharmacy told them it would be ready at about 330
At about 530p I headed there
I called on the way (after many failed attempts to call from home first before I had to head there bc I needed to get back to cook dinner ) and I got thru when an exit away. They said it would be 30 minutes to fill it. Mind you I spoke with the pharmacy the day before also. They knew the med in question
I waited in parking lot for 30 min , pulled thru drive thru, and was told they didn’t have it in stock
I understand to an extent that this can happen, but the 30 minute timeline in addition to all of the communications back and forth - was just a major major inconvenience. I insisted they call other Walgreens to see if it was in stock elsewhere. They relayed to me that it was not and it would take a couple days
I was so irritated about the misleading info about filling and the waste of my time leaving my home for nothing for an hour, that I said I would figure it out myself and I left
I called the Walgreens in Haverhill and without providing my name or the name of med they stated if it is a controlled substance they cannot let me know if they have it available
So I confirmed- I would need my provider to resend the script , I’d have to wait for the process And then physically arrive to the location in order to be told whether or not they even had it on hand ...
So I called cvs
One location checked others, told me where it was in stock , I confirmed it with the location, asked my provider to send it there, and three scripts were filled within 2 hours at cvs after two days back and forth to nowhere and honestly - not very good customer service either
So I am officially done with walgreens and have justifiably made the switch to cvs

This is by far the worst pharmacy, used to be great when it was Rite Aid, no issues. Now, you can never get a hold of them without being on hold for 45 mins+, but i've never actually gotten through to them on the phone because I give up after so long. There's always a long line or an issue. It's not just me, I've interacted with other customers while waiting in line complaining about how bad this place got since it changed. Definitely switching pharmacies!! I was just on hold for 35 mins with one person ahead of me, and then it told me the pharmacists were going on meal break for 30 mins to remain on the line or call back. RIDICULOUS.

Today, 1/5/22, I was scheduled for a Covid PCR test, scheduled a week ago. Received confirmation reminder this morning, 1/5/22, by email of the test. Went to the drive up at the designated time to find a sign that said as of 1/5/22 pharmacy was closed indefinitely. WHAT???? How could they not let us know that there was a problem and/or notify us of where to go for our scheduled test. Awful customer service.

This is the worst place you can refill your prescriptions, horrible customer service. Never had this problem with Rite Aid. Holding 25min with one person in front of me, do you think they ever picked up and the manager was useless. I give this place ZIPPO STARS GO RITE AID..

I honestly wish there was a zero star option. Worst place to have prescriptions filled the customer service is the worst. The head pharmacist is rude and everything is a huge inconvenience of his time. They also send back prescriptions to the doctor without letting the patient know. I am so frustrated because it was a prescription for my mother diabetes. We knew previously that insurance doesn’t pay for it and we would pay out of pocket.

Most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They open late and do not seem to care about people’s time. Open over 10 minutes late daily! Will be switching Pharmacy.
