This is the best hometown hardware store EVER! I go in often for paint. Great supplier of Benjamin Moore Paint. I am also a realtor, and they always make me keys. Today I went in for two screws, they helped me like I was buying a high priced item. Thank you Fair Haven Hardware!

This is being written by Madelle's mother in law, Jan Cogen. For fifteen years we lived in Fair Haven and the hardware store was our GO TO store. Harvey is fantastic. Always knew where it was, what it was, how to use it or install it--no matter what I needed for my house or patio area. He treated me and my family with the utmost respect and knew our names. Boy, do I miss our experience with Fair Haven Hardware now that we live in Scottsdale Arizona and only have big box impersonal stores offering little to useless help. Hello Harvey!

Absolutely my favorite hardware store! The staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. They have save my skin many times, when I have got in over my head on some project.

Excellent selection, friendly knowledgeable staff that is very helpful with ideas on do it yourself projects as well as advice on hardware items. We've bought everything from Weber grills to five cent o-ring washers there (they comped the washers:).

Just today, I went in and the owner took me through the many options for replacing my garden hose sprayer nozzle. I also needed to replace a garden soaker aka hose "wand." That unit I researched thoroughly on the Web and purchased from Amazon. Although it was touted as a premium, long-lasting durable product, it failed after two summers of light duty.

Fair Haven Hardware suggested I replace both the nozzle and wand with Dramm products. From the first second I attached them to my hose and used them, it was obvious that they were several cuts above the units they replaced in terms of utility, build quality and performance.

Fair Haven Hardware also has a fantastic paint department. I like it because it carries Benjamin Moore paints, including their environmentally responsible brand, and because I get great Brasilian music tips from the resident paint specialist.

In a nutshell, what I like about this place is that although it does the vast majority of its business with professional contractors, the staff is always super about helping a newbie like me tackle repair projects around the house and buy the right hardware for use in my home and yard.

Best local and most friendly hardware store ever

I just walked in there 4 minutes before closing and everybody there is looking to help - not looking at the clock! They are the best - the most knowledgeable, friendly staff around. That's why I've been going there since 1972.

Exceptionally friendly and devoted staff. I haven't left having not found the thing I needed. If you're in the area, this is the hardware store to go to.
