The folks at the UGATE Store in Akron, NY, just outside of Buffalo, are good honest folks who treated me well. I dealt over the phone and via the internet with Jason who was responsive to my requests for information concerning a long distance substantial purchase of a John Deere tractor with implements. Videos, pictures and facts about the machine were provided fully and accurately as was information about shipping the machine to Virginia. This was a very positive purchasing experience and it was a pleasure doing business.

Awesome place! I have picked up and delivered to UGATE many times. The staff there are great. Very good communication from the office to the guys that load/unload you! I would recommend UGATE for your golf/turf equipment needs.

Bought a used dump trailer from Jason off facebook marketplace. When I arrived friendly staff took me to him. Trailer was as described, price was fair. I would not hesitate to do business with again.

I bought a Jacobsen hr5111 from UGATE. I called and talked with Justin several times, got extra pictures and video of mower. Their description of the machine was accurate. They assisted with delivery. Great experience, I would deal with them again.

Buyer Beware.

I submitted an offer for a piece of equipment through the company website.

"Stock Number: 222-434
Offer: 32,500
Vehicle to Trade: none
Comments: Good morning, Justin. I was there last Friday looking at the workmen you had on hand. Throw in the cab from the diesel with the sprayer, waive shipping costs, and I'll recommend to the owners that they purchase.
Item Price: $32,500.00."

Three hours later, it was accepted by the sales manager, Justin Bigler.

"Sounds good, keep me posted."

A few hours after that, Justin sends out an invoice for a completely different piece of equipment, the diesel Workman with the sprayer. I brought this to his attention, and forwarded him the copy of the offer I had submitted, and which he had accepted. He then reneged on the agreed-upon offer.

"I am not switching the cabs,, It is the gas unit without the cab or the diesel with the cab, let me know how you want to proceed."

It's unfortunate that zero stars are not an option. Bait-and-switch tactics and refusing to honor an agreement certainly qualify.

Edit: Please provide your contact info, so I can provide you with a copy of the offer I made, via your website, and which he accepted, hours before the invoice for the wrong piece of equipment was sent.
