Such a great place for pocket knives and watches, especially when they go on sale, you can get them for under $20 and they make the perfect gift. We have bought various camping supplies like mats, tents, sleeping bags, stoves, coolers other fun things like boogie boards, floatation devices, pool games/supplies as well as various clothing. We take advantage of the sales on jackets, shoes and other apparel. There have been times we get special personalized service when they aren't too busy an employee will actually shop with us showing us where everything is that we need and offering suggestions. We really enjoy shopping here more than other sporting goods stores.

I was able to find online that this store carries the right size for the tennis racket that I’m looking for. I think this store is larger and has more selections in both varieties and sizes! Helpful if you can call ahead to make sure they have what you’re looking for as well.

I went in to buy a boogie board that I had seen advertised in their weekly ad. They had a better-than-expected selection including someone sale that were not in the advertisement. I needed to get some boards down from a top shelf and had no problem finding an employee to grab a ladder and bring some down for me. She was very pleasant about it and we had a nice conversation about the merchandise. Checking out was easy, they were good amount of customers in the store but no long line issues. The cashier was very friendly. As with any business the service can vary from location to location. As far as Big 5 Sporting Goods goes this location is excellent!

I also personally enjoy finding gym clothes and gym shoes on SALE or CLEARANCE!!

Looking for new hiking boots. The first store did not have them , they called another store, Chino Hills store had one pair and put on hold for us. Very good customer service

This store was very well stocked even though it was just before Christmas when I went there to shop. The prices were reasonable and the store was very well organized. Everybody in the store was abiding by the covid-19 restrictions. This is the nearest sporting goods store to me so I will be returning for any future Sporting Good needs.

went into store for a very specific shoe and size. this location didn't have it and online info was inaccurate. sales worked with me to find the shoe AND get me a discount for having to drive to a new store to pick it up. I will repeat business for great service EVERY TIME

Great selection of sports equipment, camping gear, shoes, etc. Some of the prices on New Balance shoes. Sign up for their email to get special sales and coupons. This location is well laid out and clean.

I was greeted by the woman at the checkout stand as I walked into the store. I was asked if I needed help and being it was my first time at this location, Yes and she directed me to the section of the store where I found what I was looking for. Great customer service!

For a big box store this locations is pretty cool. They have a decent selection of knives
They carry SOG (my go to brand ) they also carry a few other decent brands. They have a small selection of real guns along with BB guns. They carry a few crossbows as well as a decent archery section. The staff is friendly, courteous and very helpfull. They have a few staffs members that really know their stuff when it comes to the outdoors. You can tell they know what there talking about and that they've actually used the products.

We had another location check to see if this location had an item we wanted. Their system said they had 2, so 1 was placed on hold for us. We arrived a few minutes later and there was none. The manager gave us a similar item for 10% off, great customer service!

Complete sporting goods store but don't expect high-end quality in all the gears they sell. Good for beginner level or recreational play. Well-stocked with friendly and helpful store staff.

I went to Big 5 because I needed 3 matching soccer balls size 4 (not an easy task because size 4 is for younger kids) and I was greeted with a hello and a smile .
I was helped by Victor who grabbed a latter and climbed all the way to the top shelf in search for the 3 matching soccer balls but was only able to find 2.
Victor went out of his way to call another store "Chino" and had them put on hold for me.
Did I mention that Victor honored a sale price that had already expired AND got me the sale price at the other store as well ?
Btw ... the day before , I had gone to that other place the rhymes Rick's Sporting Goods and got Zero help after being there for over half an hour.... I will never go back to Rick's .

I call a night before to see if they had 50lb plates they checked and save them for me to pick them up the next day
Also the time I went there to pick them up they seemed under staff but the 3 people there were very helpful
