Large selection of craft beers including new breweries. Went today to try liquid love brewing out of Buffalo Grove.

Our favorite craft beer store. Great selection, great customer service. The people working there are always super friendly, without hovering over you as you browse. A little bit more expense than the big stores, but it's worth it. And hey, support a local business!

Unrivaled selection to other bottle shops in the city. This is my go to shop for new release beers and repeat fridge beers. I love that they have a large selection of cold beers including domestic beers if you aren’t a craft beer fan. Prices are on par with other shops and they have a fair system for limiting quantities on popular releases. Only downside is they share a small parking lot with a restaurant and veterinarian so parking can be limited to non existent at times. Otherwise, best place to buy bottles and cans of beer in the city!

Love this little spot. They have quite an amazing selection of craft beer (ALWAYS multiple SKUs of 18th Street). I have trouble keeping my purchases to just one six pack because there is always something new to try.
There are also often beer reps set up offering tastings and good conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are comparable to other spots. I go out of my way to stop here 🍻

Amazing beer selection. Better than the "Beer Specialty" stores around.

Turned onto this place by a beer friend, I have to say that I am amazed that I didn't know about this beer heaven sooner. This place has an amazing selection of craft beers. It is located in a very unassuming strip mall on Elston just southeast of Kimball.

On my first visit, I walked in to find a fellow beer lover and co-worker of mine selecting beers in the main aisle. I immediately knew I'd not made a mistake in visiting. They've got beers for everyone's taste. If you can't decide, there's a make your own 6 pack rack. The good percentage of their cases of beer are refrigerated for immediate consumption. They have large format bottles (not refrigerated) on the main aisle. There are other items in other aisles but my first visit, I only had enough hands for the cases of beer already loaded into them.

I'm definitely coming back. They have craft beers from local brewers as well as some of the better ones around the country. This place is close to home and has me planning my second trip already. I can't wait!

Driving north on Elston, needing a 6-pack to go with BBQ, so stopped at this small store. WOW! Fantastic beer selection - many, many craft beers, in both 6-packs and single bottles. Better selection than several Binnys I've been to. I'll definitely be returning.

Hidden gem and craft beer sanctuary. You would be surprised by the quantity, variety, and hard to find beers you can find here. My definite go to for craft beer. They also have social so you can see what the new drops are and so you can snag them quickly before they're going.

Sitting in one of my favorite strip malls in the city, see Munchies, sits this beer mecca. Screw the imitators, if you are looking for some the best of the best craft beers in the city, state, area, see Capone's. Freddy has managed to connect with local breweries to hold beer tasting events, home brewing events and exclusive access to limited beers. If there is something you are looking for, there is a great chance Capone's has it. In addition to their incredible beer selection they sell beer glasses to enjoy your libations in. The employees are welcoming and knowledgeable. A trip to Capone's is a great experience.

The amount of different craft beers in what seemingly would be just a neighborhood corner store is mind blowing. Their staff is so friendly and kind. Great specials.

Great service, great selection. Couldn’t find a particular beer I was really craving at two other stores so I called Capone’s. The manger or owner took his time and found the beer super fast than recognized my voice when I walked in and pointed me to what I was looking for. Great spot.

This is probably one of the best beer stores in the city. It definitely has the best selection of craft beer of any store I have been to.

I stopped there yesterday after therapy. First time. Fast service. I had the italian beef. It was great along with their fries.next time when in neighborhood im going to stop and try their pizza.. But just so you know theres a whole wall of different menus. You can take to go or eat there. You can also have it delivered.

Marc and Ray are great people and Capone's has one of the most extensive beer selections in the city. They also are always first in bringing in new breweries.

No retailer in Chicago does beer better than Capone's. Great service, insane selection. And they are the ultimate supporters of local beer. The Chicago beer scene would not be the same without Capone's.
