I wish I could share 1,000 pictures of our wedding day because David and his team's work was AMAZING! We absolutely loved working with him! He did my sister's wedding earlier last year and when we got engaged, there was no doubt that we were going to end up working with him as well! He has a very big personality and a HUGE heart. He has an eye for design and absolutely made all of my wildest dreams come true with our wedding. With the magic he does, it does come at a price, but it was completely worth it. The flowers were beautiful and he worked so well with our venue and making it just our taste and adding our own touch to it. Pictures do not do his beauty justice. His team was there and when we arrived from the Temple, it was all ready to go, flowers and everything. They had everything set up so we did not have to worry about a thing. We had a two hour drive from the temple to the reception and I was SO glad that we had David there to keep things under control. It was utterly beautiful and my wedding day will forever be one of the most wonderful and beautiful days of my life and thanks to David, a less stressful day for my family and I.

David how I love you! Let me count the ways!!! 🤩 From the first moment I met David I was in love! His personality, creativity, kindness, willingness to share and collaborate, and just all-around awesomeness were just what I needed as I was drowning in the whirlpool of hopelessness having been assigned to build a float for the Pioneer Day Parade. We could not have done it without David!! 💗 He pumped us up with his contagious positivity and he & his team made the biggest and BEST props for our float!! (and I could recognize his signature handiwork on many of the other beautiful floats as well). We won a very prestigious award in the parade and we all agree that is owed to Seasons by David!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give him 10 Stars it would not be enough!! I can’t recommend working with Seasons by David enough. He is Magnificent and will make a difficult and daunting experience joyful and fabulous! 🤩

Seasons by David did a fantastic job on my wedding! When we sat down with David and talked about what we wanted, he was completely on the same page as us! Not only did the wedding day turn out beautiful, but David was fantastic to work with. He is like the best friend you have always wanted. He is also not afraid to be honest about what will look good and what will not. I would definitely recommend booking with him if you’d like a gorgeous wedding.

I love David! And through planning my wedding we have become close friends. David did all of the florals and decor for me and my husband’s wedding and reception and it turned out beautiful! He really listens and goes through every detail to make sure everything is what you want and how you want it. He is extremely talented and very kind. He has a great sense of humor which helps lighten the mood when wedding planning can easily become overwhelming and stressful. He is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding or event, he can do it!

David is an amazing floral designer but the customer service I received from this group was outstanding! On the day of my wedding, there was a lock down situation at Trolley Square and my flowers weren't allowed to leave the shop! David was in touch with me personally to keep me updated on the situation and assure me that they would do everything possible to get the wedding florals to the wedding. Once the security situation was handled, I was notified immediately, the employee delivering the decor and florals took extra time at the venue to make sure everything was perfect and I walked down the aisle with the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. Thank you David and team!

I always knew flowers were a very important part of any wedding celebration, but when I saw the finished product on the wedding day, we were filled with the happiest of emotions. The bouquets, arbor, centerpieces, and boutonnieres were made with an immense amount of talent and love (and with quite a large bridal party). I can truly say that I have never seen flowers so beautiful. It was a moment that I couldn't even truly describe in words, and one that I will remember forever. Seasons By David exceeded everything I could have ever imagined. David and Channie were extremely organized and accommodating from the beginning stages and continued to exceed all expectations up to the final moment. I would highly recommend Seasons By David to everyone. All of the wedding guests have raved about how beautiful the flowers were. Thank you!

David, Channie and the rest of the team are absolutely AMAZING! We are from San Diego, but were having our wedding at Solitude ski resort in Utah. As you can imagine, a destination wedding poses lots of additional challenges, especially when it comes to design, vendors, etc. We were lucky enough to be recommended to David from our cake vendor. From the moment we walked into David's store, we knew he was the one. He was beyond helpful, professional and accommodating when it came to our budget. He really was a one-stop shop so to speak and made our lives soooooooo much easier! His staff was amazing, especially Channie. She was rather new to David's operation, but stepped up and handled herself and our event like a champ. We highly recommend Seasons by David for all your wedding needs in the Utah area!

I have used DAVID as my designer for twelve years. His work and customer service has always exceeded my expectations. I’ve used him to design decor for offices and my home.

I was so excited to see SEASONS BY DAVID open a couple of years ago. The decor is outstanding and different from any place in town.
I also appreciate that DAVID teaches classes (free) in the store that he shares a lifetime of design secrets with the audience.
I have to admit that even though we have moved to Nevada; I still have not found a new designer. Once you’ve had the best.....

I was happy to work with David because I had seen his work when I booked my venue at the Falls Event Center, which is right across from his shop. Unfortunately, he did not deliver for my wedding. First of all my flowers were supposed to be ready by 1:30 p.m and my maid of honor was there until after 2:00, and they still were not ready!! I called him while I was getting ready, very upset, so one of the groomsmen had to stay behind to wait. We were suppose to take a few pictures before the wedding so this made us late for my wedding ceremony, which screwed up our entire schedule. I also did not receive the same bouquet I had received for my bridal photo shoot, which I even told David how much I loved. My mother and mother-in-law did not receive their corsages. In addition, there was absolutely no wow factor for anything he did for the venue. My Husbands boutonniere was poorly made, it fell apart as he was walking down the aisle. David knew I was upset and did not bother to walk across the street to see how I felt about his work. Overall I was very disappointed and would not recommend.

We found David at the D.I.Y. bridal expo and the lady representing his company talked so very highly of David, she was even using him for her upcoming wedding, so we scheduled to sit down with him. At this first meeting, we discussed all of what we wanted, one of the big needs was an outdoor white tent. We received a quote of about $3,000. We mentioned that we may go to a different vendor for florals, and he was very put off by this. We were very pleased at this number, surprised at all that we could receive at that price, and decided to schedule a second meeting where we could view a line item and finalize paperwork.
When we arrived, David was walking around the shops nearby and as we walked in, he gasped as is surprised to see us. He explained that we were not on his assistants books, but he could have sworn that we had an appointment that afternoon. This was our first red flag. He was extremely unorganized, and throughout the appointment, he would have to get up and leave the store to figure out something on the side.
Prior to walking in to the meeting, we read his google reviews. Many were fans of David, but two in particular took their time to write a detailed review about their awful experiences with David. Between the two, it was mentioned that the staff was late to the ceremony and reception, the bouquet showing up minutes before walking down the aisle, wrong table cloth colors, wrong floral colors, ect. As a bride and her family, this was extremely concerning and needed to be brought up. When a member of our group began to ask David about the reviews, he cut them off and began a rant about the previous customers, made a very racist remark toward them, bashed on their wedding party, and cussed multiple times. During his rant, he also mentioned multiple times that he "does not need our business". He explained that there are two sides to every story, and we did not deny that, but the way the conducted himself, yelling and cursing, was not professional in the least. Once he was done talking, it was mentioned that we should move on from that topic, and he looked at the person who brought up the reviews and said, "Well this one still has a craw up her butt", his words exactly.
Never mind the way he conducted himself, but when we received our line item, the total was $9,716.06!! This is more than 3X what we were quoted, and this did not even include the tent! He blamed that large number on us because of our floral requests, but in the first meeting, he was pleased by our floral request because there is only one bridesmaid and one groomsman. Once we said that that was not what was discussed, he said that he would go to the computer to see what he could do. After cutting down on decorations, lights, linen quality, the final price was $5,904.04, nearly double our original quote.

I was extremely disappointed with Seasons by David delivery of service and accountability.

First, the flowers did not arrive to the church until minutes before I walked down the isle. It was really frustrating not to be able to take pictures with my family/friends because everyone was rushing to get the flowers on them as they stood at the end of the isle. While this was happening, flowers were being set up inside the church while my guests sat around watching this chaos unfold. Not only were they flowers late, the colors were wrong. I asked for burgundy/maroon flowers with pinks. We had meetings and a Pinterest board to make this happen. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated when I got more orange and red flowers mixed-in the dark maroon and faded pink flowers. I was very clear about wanting pink and burgundy/maroon, I did not want orange or red. The ribbons were a deep red--I never discussed having crimson red in my color scheme, but there it was. Most of the faded pink garden roses were browning, which also took away from the romantic look I was going for. I was told at the church by the delivery girl that she would bring ribbon to the reception to make the women's corsages wrist wearable. That never happened. She knew I was unhappy and did nothing to fix my reception flowers. I was married at 1:00 p.m. and my reception was at 6:00 p.m., enough time for the changes to be made.

When I arrived early to the reception, I was again disappointed because the colors were all wrong, nothing was fixed. I asked for rose gold candle holder, they only brought gold. Again, they continued to set up decorations and flowers as guest were arriving. My sister and a couple of friends spent the entire first hour of my reception running around making sure things were in place and that they would get the forgotten box. I was honestly horrified and in tears.

The day before, I went by the venue at 3:00 p.m. The tables, table clothes, chairs, and dance floor were already set up. I called Seasons by David to let them know they could set up a day early at my venue. The decorators had more than enough time to get everything together. I had taken a box of props and other decorations earlier in the week to be taken to the reception, and the staff working on my wedding forgot about it.

The staff working that day were extremely late for the ceremony and reception, they were unorganized, and did not make me feel confident to the point that my family and I had to step in to make sure things were at least in place. I've heard such wonderful reviews and comments about the company and that's why I used their services, but to be honest, my wedding day I was stressed and unhappy from walking down the isle to arriving at my reception. Thankfully I had gotten my other services from other businesses who delivered what they promised.

I informed David of the continued disappointments I had for one of the most important days of my life, and he said, "This is not the way we conduct business." He issued me a small refund (for the bouquet and family flowers) after a month and at least 5 phone call follow-ups. One of which he pretended to be someone else in order to avoid talking to me. I guess him being shady is where his employees get their lack of professionalism from.

I understand that mistakes can happen--but being late to both my ceremony and reception; having the wrong colors for my flowers, ribbons, candles--all my decorations; forgetting my decorations/props; and the extreme lack of professionalism cannot be made up by a small flower refund.
