I was filled with so much nostalgia when I walked
Zoonie’s yesterday. This store carries classic candies from my childhood, many that I’ve never seen before too!

Huge selection of merchandise, and the offerings are reasonably priced too. There are toys, tin lunch boxes, gelatos, homemade confections, self serve candies (sold by the lbs), individually packaged candies, and classic soda pops too!

There is also an area where you can sit and watch a movie. The Wizard of OZ was being played during my visit, and you may sit in one of the three chairs while you're there!

I definitely recommend this unique candy store.

We recently found this place. Such a cool candy store with everything you need and could want. I enjoyed their yummy ice cream.

Wow. This place is amazing. So much candy, so many varieties. The gellato is delicious and they have a cabinet of British candy too. Well worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth.

Always a fun treat. My son is 15 now, but he never says no to Zoonies. If you go in on a weekend, keep in mind that the bulk candy is all handled by the cashiers, so go in with patience. Ice cream, hand crafted candy, and all of your favorites. They also have fun items like various Pez dispensers and fun games,

Great store worth a large selection of "retro" candies and sodas and a nice counter with gelato and sorbets. It's always a fun experience to walk in and get slammed with a sugar sensory overload! My family and I biked to Zoonie's today and enjoyed some coconut macadamia nut gelato and raspberry sorbet.

As a foreigner this store was a joy to go into. I was so happy to see treats from home in there and for a reasonable price too!

Great place to grab a gelato and watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or Scooby Doo, or any of their great selection of films. Lovely neighborhood shop. Also they have a few sorbetto selections for dairy-free people (like our daughter), so it's such a treat. The candy selection is phenomenal but we do try to not let the little one browse toooooo much yet at her young age.

I was filled with so much nostalgia when i walked into Zoonie's. I'm originally from San Jose and grew up going to Powell's (now Willow Glen Sweet Shoppe). I always loved that I was able to sit down and watch Willy Wonka which is one of my favorite movies. I don't go down to San Jose often, so having Zoonie's so close to me is awesome!
I appreciate the variety of candy that is sold here. Currently due to the pandemic you need to ask an associate to bag your candy from the bulk bins or you can simply grab a bag that's packed towards the middle area of the bulk bins. I grabbed a variety of sour belts that were already packaged which made the process even easier! I honestly wasn't a fan of putting the candy in bags myself.
There is also gelato which I will have to grab next time!
I definitely recommend this candy store to anyone who has a sweet tooth as you can spend hours going through all the candy and also watch Willy Wonka while you're there!

Fun old school candy shoppe. Great selection of candies. Some old favorites and some you'll never have heard of. Classic tasty sodas, the real sugar kinds. Huge pez selection. Beautiful chocolate confections. Plus sorbet that is really the best around. And, maybe best of all, unlike so many other shoppes like this, it is not so overstuffed with junk that you can't walk around and see anything. This one has roomy aisles around thendisplays, so you can really look and appreciate the merchandise. Lovely store.

Visiting from Kansas. This store is the 'Bomb' for the sweet tooth. Ice cream, chocolates and nostalgic candy bars (remember rock candy?). Owner is very customer focused and personable. Kansas City would welcome a Zoonie's.

This is a great place to bring your kids. All the candy they could eat - not to mention the selection is second to none. Absolutely excellent gelato / ice cream. I'll provide a bunch of pictures next time I visit.

Not many small candy stores any more. Huge selection and really friendly staff. Great for kids and adults!

I really enjoy this store i can't find old school candy like this anymore I am from Chicago and I live in Oakland and I came here to get candy but I want to suggest that you get some jolly rangers fire stixs and some nuts and chews real good candy
