Red Bird Market

I live across the street from the store. I moved to San Diego in 2005. So Ive been cashing my pay checks here, grocery shopping , they also have the best tamales here , all the food is good . The owners and employees are so nice .

Best corner market I’ve ever seen. These people really care about their customers. I go there daily, and see the same neighborhood folk there time and again; very friendly environment. The owner Laith is there every day of the year, and Lupe is too... that pair are probably the hardest working retailers around. The store is always well-stocked with quality products, and if you have any concerns, they bend over backwards to get you set. Red Bird is a community icon on Highland you have to experience it to believe it.

This place has it all stop by and you find it all under the red bird market ,family ran ,and with a personal touch to every customer,so stop in and see how warm they welcome you,happy shopping friend.

The owner and cashier are two of the friendliest people I've every known. As soon as we walk through the door we are greeted with a smile, a how are you and my daughter gets a balloon..... She always leaves happy and the choice of items are extensive and the meat is phenomenal!!!!

love this market. accepts ebt for hot food !! great place to order a meal . tacos are a MUST . i usually get adobada and chicken. delicious ! i wouldn't suggest the tamales . i keep hoping they get better but simply not enough meat and very dry every time i decide to pick one up

Felt really good to go into a market for different meats and was welcomed not only with great customer service but big smiles. Very pleasant and friendly staff! I will go back and recommend them to everyone.

Like the fact its only 2 blocks away from me they know me i respect that their food is AMAZING best appetizer is the tostilocos they might be the best ones in town

I love it here. Their produce is fresh, their meat department has a variety selection, they sell tacos, tostilocos, menudo, carnitas and more. Many people complain about the price in some items, but they can't match price with Walmart or Food4less. That is impossible! The customer service is excellent. I been in the neighborhood since I was a teen and the Red Bird has always been great. Thank you all for a great service! I bought the stuff here to make some tortas de lomo👌

I'm so in love with their fresh chicken mole, rice and beans. The prices on their meat is definitely worth it. The place is always clean and they are always friendly.

Best corn tortillas. Delicious meat and chicken. Its a bit pricey but way worth it. Quality vs. Quantity.

Super dope lil grocery spot! 💣 carne asada, fresh cheese, freshly make salsas (the guacamole salsa is 🔥) drinks galore, they even had Bundaberg Ginger Beer!! Don't feel like cooking? They make food fresh on the spot😍🙌 Awesome Mom&Pop shop 😊

Hello Everyone☺ this market has the best meat!!! It may be a little pricey. Its worth every cent you pay. The extra lean hamburger is the "BEST" around.

I love this store. Its a complete grocery atore without the long lines. They also have a hot food area where you can order tacos, burgers, hot dogs among other things. They also sell beer wine liquor. Its a one stop show. Its my dauly goto store.

I love supporting the little guys and the people that own this place are always here. Great selection Fair prices. Stop in and support the little guy not Walmart as often as you can

Always have the best marinated Carne Asada, the arrachera and Waygu grade Asada is a treat.

I've been shopping at Redbird for several years the family that owns the business is very friendly and the carne asada is awesome.

Really enjoyed the food they have hour for for EBT tacos and the sorry plus it's a market as well
