Wise Penny

The most amazing "thrift" store in the area! Calling Wise Penny a "thrift" store doesn't really do it justice; their selections are unique, tasteful, and good quality. It is more akin to a consignment store than a Goodwill. While the clothes are fashionable, they are more suited for a more professional taste. That being said, there are tons of trendy, young clothes to pick from as well.

I am a petite woman and it's near impossible to find high quality clothes that fit me, but everything I came home with from here fit me incredibly well without tailoring. I don't see any reason to go anywhere else for my clothing needs.

Finally, the prices really cannot be beat at all. Sure, it's not the cheapest thrift in Baltimore, but after accounting for the quality and brand names, the prices are insane. I can't believe I came out with several barely-worn/new brand name pieces for less than $50.

This is truly a hidden gem!! The place is so nicely set up and the selection is wonderful. Very upscale. A lot of higher end designers. I noticed a gorgeous St. John top and thought I had hit the jackpot but it had been marked up to $50. :( They did however have an awesome half off sale going on and I found out that every Tuesday and Thursday they have 20% off sales. The staff was very friendly. Will certainly come back here!

I was just in the store today. What a beautiful job the staff has done for the store. The prices are reasonable and the quality of merchandise is almost unbeatable. Check it out. You might find what you are looking for as a gift. I did.

I’ve donated many items here over the years. Small, but a nice selection of higher end clothing and housewares. I got a great deal on used Eddie Bauer luggage 15 years ago - I’m still using it!

High quality items for a fantastic price. The shop isnt jam packed like many thrift/consignments so it was an enjoyable experience to look around. People were friendly. Will come back when im in the area again.

Pretty awesome trinkets & household treasures. Friendly staff & prices are decent & reasonable. Seen a lot of rare glasses, crystals & silverware. My daughter called them ancient & royal items. Lol.

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews! It's somewhere between a consignment store and a really nice thrift store: you'll find awesome things (Benetton skirt made in Italy!) at thrift store prices. Check out their website for upcoming sale events, too! (Dollar day? Yes please!)
