This location benefits from the recent renovations that B and N have been applying to new stores and slowly to current locations nationwide over the past year. If you have been to the new Woodridge location, pocture that location but larger with better parking. Instead of the long aisles of narrow passages with books surrounding you right and left, this location now has taller book shelves with more breaks and cul de sacs, if you will, where you will find your books. These changes make it easier we to navigate through the store and you'll never feel trapped in a particular section. And, you can see through the store with better lines of sight.

You'll still find the coffee shop with ample seating and conveniently placed to bring books to peruse before purchasing. You'll also still find the same kid friendly rising area conplete with logo table although without the Fog and Tooad stahe which has become a staple at the older locations. There's less green and tan and more modern Grey and brick burgundy and it provides an updated but same quality experience. Right now, this is my preferred B and N location.

Feels very spacious and bright. It is on one level but it is well done.
Easy to spot your favorite area. I was in the mood for classics and found a cute Jane Austen Illustrated book with recipes.

The kids area has a table with lego duplo for your munchkins to play while you are browsing around.

Of course there’s plenty of space to get your coffee

My family and I are so happy Barnes & Noble is in Reston! We stopped by today and love the large selection, including an awesome children's section, Manga, nonfiction, cookbooks etc. There's something for everyone. Also the cafe has seating to enjoy a nice beverage and pastry.

We popped into this Barnes & Noble the other day and was super impressed at how beautifully organized and laid out everything was! This is the most visually appealing Barnes & Noble we've ever been to and love it way more than even the one in Tysons Corner! There are also plenty of places to sit near the Starbucks area, and saw several folks with their laptops and Kindles hanging out here. It's evident this store is managed well. Highly recommend checking it out - A+++!!!

I am happy that Barens & Noble has been returned to the Reston area. There had been one before but closed around 2012 or so.
It is well managed, with nice store associates, and plenty of options for book lovers.
The location is very good, with plenty of parking spaces available, and there is a Starbucks coffee shop inside.
However, it is not a real Starbucks, since the baristas are Barnes and Noble employees,
So your app or many of your Starbucks options are not valid here, but you will get the same type of foods and beverages as a typical Starbucks store.

The bookstore is spacious with a diversity of book selections. It also has cute little things that can be bought as gifts. There are some corners that provide you privacy and let you enjoy reading your favorite books.

It's a great thing to have a book store available in our area. Barnes & Noble is a wonderful place to go and relax, find a book, or have a coffee. The employees are super helpful and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love it.

Welcome back to Reston! Great atmosphere, excellent selection of books, and all the other stuff B&N sells like hard-to-find LEGO. So glad to have them back.

Appears to be new or newly redecorated. Well stocked. Interesting, leisurely browsing. The staffer at the cash register took time to discuss my selections and make great suggestions which I followed.

Not only does this store have all my money, they have my heart in the way that the people who work here are SO helpful!!

Love this Barnes and Noble. Has a great layout, refreshing design with high ceilings, the cafe section has plenty of seats and outlets. My one feedback would be to let the baristas know alternative milks do not come as an extra cost when they’re only creamers. Not a fan of getting charged an extra dollar for three tablespoons of an alternative milk.

What a beautiful new location. Customer Service is top notch! Was really impressed how a manager stopped by to talk about the book I was buying and share their excitement. Diane at the checkout counter was patient and meticulous at getting all my pre-orders done correctly. It looks like they have lots of great community events planned as well.

Special shout out to their Social Media manager for helping my wife find a rare and beautiful book! We will definitely be buying all our books here now.

This is a B&N with the Paper Co. Embedded inside. It also has a generous cafe area with a bar to read or work at. Bathrooms are clean.

Would return. A really pleasant experience. The layout encourages you to explore and get lost in the books and art, but at the same time, everything is succinctly organized and categorized. Check their website for actual book prices as usually they are less than the number on the barcode.

To be surrounded by books is a wonderful feeling. And having a cafe there is an added benefit.

I loved the layout of this store. It definitely feels more like a small bookstore instead of a warehouse of books. Great selection too.

It opened recently but there is already a positive vibe there. Staff is hilarious, food is good, and it's very spacious!
