Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar

Small but cozy cafe, wine bar and food on the 2nd floor with live jazz music, which is different from the 1st floor. It's been a while since I found a place with live music. I was just going to have a cup of coffee, but I like jazz music, so I had another glass of wine! I'll have to come for dinner next time.

We enjoyed the Brazilian Live Music! Gigi is a great singer. Food was great. The place is beautiful.

Super friendly staff, kind atmosphere, and great food! Liked the variety of breakfast options! I got the breakfast salad and my partner got the chicken salad and tomato soup.

Lake Anne Coffeehouse and Wine Bar is a must visit if you're in Reston, VA. As a native Restonite, I grew up watching the evolution of bats and restaurants in Reston from the 80s onward. I have to say that this little nook on the Lake is just the place to be - day or night! Whether for coffee, wine, appetizers or dessert, this place is sure to fulfill all of your needs in a delicious manner. Highly recommend!!

Hands down the BEST brunch food in the Lake Anne area and dare I say all of Reston. The food is delicious, light, and honestly under priced when compared to other breakfast places in the area. Very personable staff who are there for you and do an excellent job, especially on weekends when this place gets packed (for a good reason).

There’s also live music upstairs throughout the month with a lovely ambience and a great dinner menu.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough and am happy to support this amazing local business!

My sister was in town for the weekend and my wife was out of town so we visited many restaurants in the metro DC area during these 4 days.

Lake Anne Coffee and Wine Bar was our favorite! We went there three times. The food was fantastic! Our favorites include - the summer squash risotto, hanger stake and the nicoise breakfast salad.

A lovely family owned coffee shop. Reasonable prices, good quality, and a cozy atmosphere with a mini bar, lounge, and fireplace area on the second floor.

Has good dining space. Good food. Was a little bit crowded. Got little bit disappointed as had to wait for 30 minutes just to get an avocado toast, and had to follow up at the counter again and again. Lovely space outside for a walk.

This is a good spot. I had the Burrata and a white blend for my visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. I sat outside and it was a good experience to have.

I also recommend seeing the menu as a whole because of the numerous items offered with opportunities for those with a big palate. There were a jumper of salads, appetizers, and main courses to choose from when you eat here.

The coffee bar has a full menu of options and they are active with plenty of people coming for their menu. Definitely a spot you can get your caffeine fix, if that is your need.

This place is handicap accessible with tables available: there is plenty of parking with a large lot available. It is in the heart of all the shops on the lake and it makes for a good day to take in.

Always have a great experience here, the chef is very talented and the dinners are always great. Went for happy hour this week and the wines were delicious even on the happy hour menu. love the uniqueness of this place, I hope it continues to flourish.

Stopped in for a couple hours to do some remote working before the holidays. Ordered a cup of coffee and a huge poppyseed muffin and sat upstairs at the common table for a few hours. It was quiet and laid back, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful.

I love this place. The homemade jam, homemade ketchup, local coffee and overall local connection make this place a keeper. Excellent coffee which is hard to find in Reston. Avocado toast is amazing, great presentation, friendly staff, clean and simple bistro. Excellent prices!

Very quaint, well-kept coffee house with delicious food. Breakfast sandwich was delicious, and the biscuit was melt in your mouth perfection. The different syrup varieties were interesting to see.

The customer service is definitely great here. I got myself a hot chocolate and it was good. It felt like it had a bit of a vanilla taste to it at first, then it started tasting more like a hot chocolate.

Great wine. Terrific food. Lovely service. Phenomenal happy hour selection and prices. Tranquil location. Can’t beat this place!

This place has had a massive renovation and is now beautiful with two floors of seating and a nice view of the Plaza from the large windows on both floors. They are still just a couple weeks into the reopening so have limited food (a few pastries and now a few small hot dishes for dinner) but their coffee drink selection is pretty extensive, and includes Almond milk as a dairy alternative. No sugar free syrups yet but hopefully that will come in time too. Their WiFi is a bit on the sluggish side - at least on a busy Saturday morning, but otherwise this is a great place to come and hang out with locals - it's in a Plaza that isn't always easily discovered unless you know about it. But Lake Anne Plaza is a great place with a number of nice places to eat and shop, and hosts a Saturday farmers market and craft market.

Great space, wonderful food and very fine staff. Had the breakfast tacos, cutest food I've ever seen and particularly tasty.

Nice place for appetizers and tea on a weeknight to catch up with a friend. They have live music certain nights.

Tried these guys out for breakfast this AM after recommendations from friends. Awesome little place. We both had the croque madame and it was great. Coffees and lattes were spot on too. Definitely will be back. Now that we know about it - have to try the Wine Bar!
