Curio Mrvosa Books and More

We have been wanting to stop by this store for the longest. I am so glad we finally did. The outside looked so inviting. Upon arrival the owner greeted my family and I. The nostalgia in this store was so loud. lol We had so much fun looking through all the unique merch. We will definitely return soon!

Curio Mrvosa is a beautifully curated bookstore with owners who can help guide you to anything you need. But it's more than that, and that "more" is harder to describe. In addition to books, they have a ton of... things--stickers, vintage dishes, hand-made mags, wall hangings--just a lot of interesting stuff. I especially love their earrings--handmade, unique, and beautiful.

Such a fun, magical little space. Visiting Curio Mrvosa is definitely one of our top favorite small bookstores of all times. Not only can you find a unique collection of books and quirky, random gifts, but chatting with the owners Alyse & Alex make the experience of going even more fulfilling. They are awesome people, extremely knowledgable and there to help you find exactly what you need. It's impossible to leave empty handed (and why would you?!?!). I send everyone who visits Taylor to their shop. 10/10!

This isn’t your usual bookstore. Alex & Alyse have curated something really special here. They are extremely knowledgeable and stock treasures & books that are extraordinary & thoughtful. Great vintage gifts here too! I find something special every time I come in. This place is definitely worth the drive! So thankful they’re in Taylor!

Love my local bookstore! This place is so cute and the owners are always helpful and kind. Along with new and gently used books, they have a fun selection of gifts, trinkets, knick-knacks, seasonal decor and more. I love supporting local businesses and buy all of my books in store or through their bookshop link. Also, today is National buy a book day, so what better day to shop local and buy a book?

Such an awesome shop! They had a really cool selection of books, and were also so sweet and fun to talk to. Walked away with four books we had never heard of before.

Curio is hands down my favorite gift shop in Taylor. The selection of books, prints, vintage toys, and all things wonderfully strange is out of this world. The owners are amazingly knowledgeable, and all around cool kids. Have a few hours to kill? Pop in and check out this gem. You won’t leave empty handed… I never do!

If you're not paying attention, you might just miss this hidden gem right on Main Street in downtown Taylor. This seemingly tiny bookstore feels more like entering Narnia through the wardrobe... It is full of magic and wonder. It's amazing how much time I can spend exploring this adorable book nook. If you're not in Taylor, it's worth the drive, and Taylor makes for a great day trip anyway. Just make sure that you make Curio Mrvosa one of your first stops.

Stopped by to check out some shops in Taylor, Tx. Although this bookstore is small, it has an abundance of selections. I’ve been meaning to read this book and am glad I found it. Great customer service and very friendly atmosphere. Plan on stopping by next time we pass through.

I love going in to see what kind of treasures I may find. Always greeted with a smile and assistance if needed. The stock is changing often.

They also are happy to special order books and even have a online portal. Such a nice way to shop local!

What a not so hidden gem of a bookstore in downtown Taylor! I just adore this store:) It has a well cultivated collection of good reads, fun tchotchkes, and local art. There really is something for everyone in this small but mighty shop!
