Absolutely the BEST 3rd party shipper I’ve experienced! I purchase goods all around the country and by far The Packaging Place exceeds them all. My items were safely and securely packaged better than if I was shipping to myself! They know what they are doing. People sometimes balk at 3rd party shipping prices. What is important to me is that my collectibles are handled with care, safely packaged and arrive in a reasonable time frame. All boxes checked! Would highly recommend and will definitely be utilizing their services again should the opportunity arise.

My business requires that I use packaging companies to transport highly valuable and very fragile items, some of them hundreds of years old.

Recently, I received one of these fragile items that had been packed and then shipped to me by Frank Monteforte of The Packaging Place in East Stroudsburg, PA.

I have never seen such an expertly packed item in my over thirty years of doing business!
My delicate item was VERY well-wrapped, and well supported with biodegradable peanuts in an appropriate sized box.
THAT BOX WAS THEN PLACED IN A VERY LARGE AND VERY STURDY BOX, THAT WAS AGAIN WELL SUPPORTED BY BIODEGRADABLE PACKING PEANUTS!

Frank is wonderful to work with. He will make boxes for me if something doesn’t fit right or if I don’t have one. He doesn’t mind attaching labels, printing labels or taping up your stuff. You don’t even have to wait, he says “just leave it there and I’ll take care of it.” He is customer service oriented and great to work with. 10 stars from me. I just came from the other packaging store nearby. They wanted a dollar to tape my package shut and all I needed was the top taped down, about 4 inches of tape. Then they wanted three dollars to print out my label and more money to tape it on. Frank will do all of that for nothing. He’s awesome.

Prior to moving from PA to Washington state, I had multiple boxes shipped to my new address from The Packing Place. Frank was extremely helpful and every box arrived in perfect condition. One particular item was a treasured family heirloom which he took extra time and effort to prepare for shipping. It arrived in perfect condition just today. Moving cross country was a big deal but the experience with shipping personal items was made incredibly easier with Frank's assistance. I highly recommend The Packing Place for all your shipping needs.

The best service in the Pocono’s! If you want good service this is the place to go. I’m sure there are many people who are frustrated with the long lines at the post office and the grumpy people behind the counters! Frank is a professional he knows his business and that’s what I want when I have packages going to family and friends. I’ve been going to the Packaging Place for over ten years and encourage everyone I know to do the same. I live in South Florida. My sister and her family live in E Stroudsburg PA. I met Frank about 10 years ago when I purchased some wood items and went to his store to have it packed and shipped to my home in Florida. At that time he offered his services to let me send my packages to his store for my family in PA and he would make sure that they received them. When my packages arrive Frank calls my sister to come and pick it up. Who does that…Frank does…he has always gone above and beyond for me as well as my family and I know that my package is safe and sound. This is way he is in business for 30 years! My parents gave me a set of their 60 year old fine crystal stemware wine and cocktail glasses. If you know stemware, you know the rim of each glass is nearly paper thin. The Packaging Place carefully wrapped, packed, and shipped them across country (Pennsylvania to Oregon), and not one was chipped, cracked or damaged in any way.

From drop off to arrival The Packaging Place was extremely professional and knowledgeable. There is no way to even put a price on peace of mind when shipping such valuable and sentimental pieces. If you’re going to complain about a price to ship, you don’t deserve to have such an item shipped.

The owner is smart and stellar with customer service (remembers people from months back!), will double check and tell you the truth about your shipping ETA and options whether it suits him or not. He lets you decide. Rare as platinum in this day and age.
