Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Pocono Mountains

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Great Wolf Lodge. My daughter (1.5 years old) was in awe, and we have never seen her happier!

1. We were really impressed with the facility itself, everything was clean and the restaurants were designed very modern where it didn’t feel like you were at a place geared towards kids
2. The staff were really friendly and helpful
3. We stayed in the new “mountain tower” and I’m really glad we did. It’s a bit of a walk to all the attractions, but it’s also a lot quieter, and less congested than the main area. The room was super nice, a lot bigger than I expected, perfect for two adults and my daughter’s pack n play!
4. The water park itself was so fun. My daughter LOVED it! They have a splash area for little kids, a pool that’s about 1 foot deep with small slides she went down with my husband (that was her favorite part) and they also have a family pool that’s around 4ft deep where we could just hold her.
5. There were also a lot of other things for little kids to enjoy like story times, build a bear, arts and crafts (although we didn’t do that) and character meet & greets. She also liked the arcade and generally just running around the lobby, at night they have dance parties!
6. There were some others things to do that she wasn’t quite old enough for which I consider good because I didn’t have to pay for it!!
7. The food was actually really good! We tried both restaurants, as well as the takeout/pizza!

The only cons….
1. The food is EXPENSIVE. We enjoyed it as part of the experience, but for our next trip I might consider bringing our own food for breakfast or at least getting pizza one night. We loved fireside, and felt that was worth it, but would probably skip the buffet at timbers. The buffet food was good, but just not worth the price for the amount we could eat.
2. I was disappointed to have to pay a parking fee on top of all the other expenses.
3. The water park was crowded and we didn’t end up getting a chair. We arrived 5 mins after opening and everything was taken (we didn’t end up needing a chair, but at least wanted the option to sit if we needed to) but the pools themselves didn’t feel overly crowded since everyone was pretty spread out.

Overall, we had a blast and can’t wait to make a return trip!

I knew we would have fun, but I was honestly surprised at how impressive the complete experience was. I was blown away with the cleanliness of the entire resort, especially considering how big this place is. I was pleased to see how many staff they had attending to everyone and every thing in the resort. Everything was super kid friendly, and there were things for the adults to enjoy as well. The room was so clean and cozy, the food at the breakfast buffet and pizza pickup place was all very good, and the extra resort activities that were free were super cute & well-organized. Certainly a pricey experience, but I do think it was all worth it. There are also ways to save money: buying packages, bringing your own food/snacks/drinks, etc.

We just got back from a short two night stay at great Wolf Lodge. My kids loved the waterpark and that’s where most of our time was spent. They also loved the bubble and Jammie’s party nightly. The buffet was mediocre food, but that’s expected. I would not go back there. The water park was clean but could be cleaner. The buoys in the water really needed a cleaning. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

We had an amazing time here! We went in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy and stayed for 3 days. The water park was a blast and is fun for kids or adults! The hotel was fun and offered plenty of activities for us to do as a family. The food was average, but had something for everyone. It was a bit inflated, but about what you'd expect. There were a lot of options nearby for food and shopping, so if you don't want to get the buffet, food court, or restaurant, you can grab food nearby. We did hibachi one night and it was worth the 10 minute ride 👍.

All of the staff was great and we didn't have any issues at all during our stay. We're definitely looking forward to our next trip!!

As always a great family fun filled trip to Great Wolf Lodge. Toms of fun things to do. Service would've gotten 5 stars from me but I don't like all of the order kiosks for everything rather then dealing with humans. I also didn't like that they are a cash free place now.

We stayed in one of their new rooms in the newly built mountain tower and it didn't disappoint. It was beautiful, and new. Just beware that if you book that tower you will be walking miles from your room to everything. Have fun and stay safe!

Great place for fun with the family and kids. Lots of slides, wave pool, small lazy river, couple hot tubs, kids slide, and pool area. There is lots of great stuff for the kids and fun times for all. Everything here is decent, but there are a few issues. The giant area with a large bucket dropping water and play area is in dire need of repairs and fixing up, multiple things not functioning, it's really an eyesore and kids really didn't enjoy it much, Great Wolf really needs to repair or just tear it down for a new one as it is very sad. The room was nice overall, beds were nice, had a 2 queen room with pull out, fridge with a freezer, no microwave, only complaint was the bathroom walls and inside were not painted and needed repairs, bathroom itself made me feel like I was in a very cheap old hotel room. The customer service here was fantastic, as an example, my kiddo broke their magic wand, and they helped out with repairing it. Went from having a meltdown child to returning to having a great time! Had many instances of great services, bravo to management, and staff for doing a great job and helping out! The food was good inside the park, pizza surprisingly good, breakfast buffet was good and had good selection for the kids. This was one of multiple visits here, always been a good time.

This place was great!!! We went at the end of the week and the price was great for it. Make sure you read your reservation confirmation, though. The site said a TV for the kids (wolf den) for our room, but only some of them have it. It was more detailed on the confirmation. Food and gifts bought there are extremely expensive. $30 for a bubble wand but they did give free wolf ears at the beginning of our stay. They also have many free activities for children, including crafts and a dance party before bed. The water park was a blast, though 3 days was a little too much for my toddlers. We loved the children's area with slides because the water was perfect height for them, 1'6". Can't wait to go back!!!

We had a fantastic time staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. Our little boy just turned 2 and he had a great time with all the different areas of the water park that are for kids his size. He especially loved the wave pool. We also purchased the deluxe cabana which was definitely worth it. It's a nice place to go back and rest up at as well as order food. Will definitely be going again soon, had a great time!

A lot of fun for my 1.5 yr old, clean room and exciting waterpark. Friendly staff. Only critique is that it was a slow check-in process, couldn't use the kiosk because of a different name on the reservation vs ID. Make sure they match beforehand to ensure speedy check in. The fireplace room was also very comfortable for three of us

Went only for 1 night. My kids (2,6,10) LOVED it. Wished we could’ve stayed a day or two longer. Utilize the app and order your food on that instead of getting in line or ordering on their kiosk screens. Overall, we’d come back.

We had an amazing experience at Great Wolf Lodge. The water park was fantastic, from the toddler to the older teen had a blast. The facility has indoor bowling, mini golf and a small movie theater. There are other attractions that are open during warmer weather. There are plenty of food options and everything can be ordered from the GWL app. The customer service is great. The staff is always willing to help and checking to make sure our needs are meet. It is possible to stay in the lodge and have all your needs meet during your stay without leaving the resort. However, there are plenty of stores and food options outside the lounge. This is definitely a great place for a vacation. Both adults and kids alike can have lots of fun and be able to disconnect. And lastly, the facility is well equipped to meet the needs of most guests with mobility restrictions and other special needs. Call or email them in advance to inquire about accommodations as each situation is different with special needs.

The absolute best place to spend a weekend getaway with kids!! they loved it (4&2 yrs old), and me and hubby loved it more. they get to play, get their energy out, and enjoy the water in the cold weather, and we get to escape city life and relax. we went during Christmas, and they had magical vibes and lots of programs for kids throughout the day. we will definitely go a lot more!!

Great location, amazing experience and unbelievable customer service!! Front desk supervisor Elena N. is beyond tops,shows incredible experience and is everywhere! She's always working and doing everything to make customers day. In the Waterpark you'd be hard pressed to find a single employee that isn't helpful but Holly B. went above and beyond to make sure my daughters bday was perfect. If I had a business I'd hire these 2 in a heartbeat.

We had a great time! We're a family of 6, and we were celebrating my son's birthday 🎂. The bed wasn't that comfy, and the room wasn't new, but honestly, my kids had a blast, and I was good with that. They had a lot of activities for the kids and it was fun. I think we'll be back for my daughter's birthday.

Our experience at Great Wolf has been great. We had a couple of issues in our room and maintenance was quick to resolve them.

We did dinner at Fireside and we had excellent service and the food was good.

Unfortunately my oldest son left his retainers on his plate or on the table. Once he realized we went to the hostess stand and then to guest services. Luckily for our son, Jerry was working and after an extensive search found one thinking that was all they called us to come get it. When he heard there was a second he searched again and found it. Jerry went above and beyond and he should be commended.

Howls! We had a paw-tastic weekend stay at Great Wolf! All the staff we encountered were amazing and super friendly, especially at the front desk. It was my first time at Great Wolf and I really like the vibe here because it’s 100% family and kids focused. And there’s just so much to do besides the water park! We got the wolf pass, and we had a fun packed day just checking off all the items on the wolf pass. I would highly recommend getting the wolf pass! The wolf ears were such a sweet touch, we enjoyed wearing them! Thank you Great Wolf Lodge for the memories and we’ll be back soon!

We've been going for a few years now, probably 5 or 6 times. This most recent visit we had a room in the newest section.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only complaint is the new room doesn't have carpets, so they can get lots, especially with children in your room.

The Waterpark has activities for all ages. The new section that opened fall 2023 added quite a few new slides including dune very fast ones and a four way race one. They did a great job with this renovation.

The other big feature the kids love is Magiquest. That, too, was updated a year or so ago. They only have one quest line, but that's enough to keep busy for a multi day trip.

The service is always too notch. We've had to reschedule a few times and they are always accommodating and helpful.

We've visited this location a couple of times and have enjoyed ourselves both times. The new adventure pass is a nice value for kids who are in the 8-13 year old age range. I'd love to see the addition of a laser tag activity for this location. I cannot speak to the outdoor activities as our visits have been in the winter months, but they have a huge outdoor obstacle course that looks like a lot of fun!

The staff has been outstanding and helpful during both of our visits. Rooms could use some updating, however, I believe the Poconos location is currently working through updates. New villas are also being built and look amazing.

We purchased a Family suite packages Groupon for $300 for one night , resort fee included, on arrival the front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a Kid Cabin closer to the water park and arcade. This place is awesome , you can access the water park when it opens at 10am the day of checkin and all day the day of checkout. You really get a lot for your money considering the water park is included in your stay. My suggestion is you get to the water park an hour before they open to get a table to sit at. The waterpark has free towel rentals and filtered water machines, so I suggest you bring a reusable water bottle to save on drinks. And leave the beach towels at home to avoid having to travel with wet towels. Upon checkin if you have a birthday kid they will give them a birthday pin and you get free wolf ears upon checkin which are good quality souvenirs ! There are free activities in the lobby happening all day such as yoga , bingo for prizes, story time and dance parties. You should download the app for access to the schedule and to easily order food for pick up. Dinner at the Fireside restaurant is fairly priced , we paid about $100 with gratuity for 3 adults and two children. They give the kids an activity mat while they wait for their food . And they will sing happy birthday with candle in a dessert or a scoop of ice cream! I would suggest getting a family meal for $50 if you have a big family, for lunch at Hungry as a Wolf located outside of the water park. Also breakfast buffet is overpriced so we chose to get breakfast at the onsite Dunkin Donuts , order on the app to avoid the lines. It’s convenient because they text you when your food is ready. The app is so convenient because you can request help , access the map to the resort and checkout through the app. The staff is very friendly and helpful! We lost our son in the waterpark and security was able to help us find him immediately. I would suggest getting a waterproof bracelet with an Apple air tag , it’s pretty helpful when finding your kid at a resort! We would definitely come back to visit in the summer when the outdoor activities are available. But this was a perfect and close getaway for my son’s birthday! I would highly recommend Great Wolf Lodge to any family !

The park was a blast but very crowded on the Saturday we were there. The rooms were good and the kids loved the bunk beds and the story times. I wish there was better parking for hotel guests, I had a good parking spot on Friday afternoon but had to go get something and when I returned I had to park in overflow parking even though we were staying in the hotel rooms. That was annoying but not a deal breaker.
